Hi folks. I really want to get a wheel for use with Forza 5, I used to drive with a wheel on PC games years ago and it makes such a difference. However, I’m paraplegic so I can’t use my feet. Can anyone recommend a wheel that has the analogue triggers on the wheel and not on the floor?
Thanks,
Tull.
hi…iam in the same boat as you.c7 incomplete ,my quad paws are having trouble griping the new pad.i wasnt able to find anything on the web site for the wheel.
I know it’s not ideal , but the assists will help with this as a workaround i think. I know the auto brake will, not sure if there’s an auto accelerate too. But failing that, put the pedals on your desk, and steer one handed while using the accelerator. Not ideal i know, but i’m just brainstorming workarounds for you. Have you tried looking at the button layout options. You may be able to map throttle/brake to A/B or something. Again not perfect but better than nothing?
C6 Incomplete here. I had a wheel for Forza 4 on the 360. The ABXY buttons on the wheel translated to the same as those on the controller. With the XBone, I just learned to use the controller.
With this all said, the Mad Catz Pro Racing Force Feedback Wheel and Pedals for Xbox One looks to have the XYAB buttons, but honestly, I’m not sure how well it works with the XBone & Forza 5. Another note, this wheel appears to be unavailable until June 1, 2014, per popular online vendors.

Hi.
Can anyone suggest a driving wheel for a paraplegic? (Can’t use feet!)
Thanks.
as per the other post the mad catz wheel which is coming out in june maybe our only option… pad for now
There was a bloke on here who had to drive with his mouth a couple years back. Pretty impressive he was too.
Thats gonna be a difficult one, as there are currently only two Wheels available for Xbox One (TM TX458 and MadCatz Wheel), so not much to chose from a hardware perspective. My suggestion would be to convert the shifter paddles from digital to analog using the parts from the pedal set. However this would require some serious DIY skills which i am sadly missing completely.
I’d suggest you guys put your request into one of the more ‘serious’ racing sim forums like racedepartement or inside sim racing. There’s a bunch of very talented modders there and i’m sure one of them could come up with a smart idea to get analog hand-throttle and brake. These are some serious modding freaks, they like challenges and i’m sure they are happy to put something together if you supply the hardware.
Woo
There was an option in FM4 with the MS wheel where the left and right paddles worked as brake and gas,i don’t know if that is in FM5 or not,i will check next time i am on and see if it works for my TX wheel, unless someone beats me to it.
