Unfortunately because my wheel was not supported I completed the game with a X box controller on the PC. Sad Story =(
After you guys fix the issues with the wheels, and whatever other issues that are taking forever to fix, what would bring me back to play more is to allow Virtual Reality while inside the drivers seat.
Racing games are the first most easy to convert to VR then any other game that requires a VR build from ground up. I run this game in 4k on a 980ti AMD fx 9590, 40-50 FPS, I don’t see any reasons VR would not run at low to medium settings.
I sort of have to disagree. I think racinggames only work with a controller on VR. When you go and take a wheel, it would not work as well. I like to see where my wheel is and you can’t in VR. I also tried the HTC Vive two weeks ago, as it was fun I can only see it in a casual way like kinect. I think a big curved TV and some solid headtracking would be even better.
I love VR and the wheel, I have 3, 4k monitors I used to use for iracing and they are now used for my wife’s games, when the wheel works right in VR it moves as yours does. Truly amazing having the car all around you in 3D. After playing all the VR racing games to date, they are all great but they miss one thing. Free roam open world driving! That would be awesome! I am a bit tired of the same old tracks over and over again with limitations. Dirt Rally is a pretty amazing VR game but still your stuck to the track only.
