What sort of car is the Fairlady Z FE supposed to be?

this . . . thing, the Fairlady Z FE . . . maybe it’s me being rubbish at the game but it’s like the Alumicraft FE in FH4, absolutely dire

steers like a boat or supermarket trolley or BAD 'Murican car (meaning take cars with bad steering and pick the worst :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)

those are offroad tyres? really? why is it “unlimited offroad” when the base car is a sports car? I can see the Tankpool doing either but not a Japanese sports car

or maybe someone can tell me how to use the thing properly

Did you use it for the current championship? It’s a bit weird, for reason I don’t quite understand it has a 3 gear transmission and it was worse than my overpowered badly tuned Isetta which fell over in every corner corner for that championship (the best seems to be the Mercedes Racing Truck FE thingy (is that the Tankpool you mentioned?), easily won with that).

yes, I used it for the championship (and yes, the Tankpool is the truck)

Yeah I really dunno what its exact purpose is XD Maybe to just be horrible. I mean it has offroad suspension and everything but it isn’t any good at offroading and even worse on the road and some details (like the 3-speed transmission) kinda make it seem like it was meant to be some kind of joke.

I think PGG was trying to copy off of the Crew which has rally raid variants of sports cars like for example Mustangs, Camaros and Skylines. But yeah the Fairlady Z FE is utterly horrible to drive. Worse than actual offroad vehicles.

FH5 has the weakest selection of FE cars in my opinion.

they’re horrible, I was gonna say the viper is ok but that’s an AE

That crazy AWD Porsche almost makes up for the rest of them by itself. I love that thing.

Yeah but theses offroad sports car thingys in The Crew are FAR better, at least the few I have driven of them.

It’s a Fairlady Z rebuilt to be like a trophy truck: RWD offroad with beefy engine, very soft suspension, and 3 gear manualized automatic. Idea is cool enough. Obvious issue is, offroading in FH5 is pretty bad, and real world racing offroads, or cars built like them, are of hardly any use here.

right, that does seem to fit with how it handles, though it’s definitely a lot worse than any of those trophy trucks - thanks
