What is the point

what is the point of a Technical Support & Help section in a official game forum if neither devs or mods respond to it?

There is a sticky up top that says this is not the official technical support medium in fact.

Not defending them, in fact I think they should be more communicative in general, but there is a sticky up top.

While what you say is true, the fact remains that they state you have to contact xbox support regarding a number of issues.

This does not include game specific or in this case Forza7 specific problems. There is no link there to follow to reach T10 or
any other person/forum etc. where you can send you problems, even if they are gamebreaking, etc.

The question I, the OP, posted here, was actually a question asked by xbox support. They are now trying to reach T10 devs
but where more then a little surprized I cant reach T10 to try and resolve my gamebreaking problems with them.
Specially because the same problem made Forza 5 unplayable for me.

Instead, Xbox support had me do all kind of things, from reinstalls (NOT FUN WITH A 100GB GAME YOU HAVE TO REDOWNLOAD WHEN REINSTALLING!!),
to hard resets, factory resets, deleting save games etc., all to no avail, all the while already knowing the problem lies with T10 and the game.

They spend many hours trying to help me, while T10 has not even taken a millisecond to even acknowledge the problem exists.

So yes, they can state in the official game forum that this is not the official technical support medium, but that is making it just very easy for themselves,
as they do not have a real official technical support medium!

Meanwhile I am stuck with a gamebreaking bug that never, in the full 4 years, was patched and fixed with Forza 5, now in Forza 7. So that is why my convidence in
a fix isnt really great!

For now, a great part of the game is unplayable. It is a easy to recreate bug, that I have discribed in lenght in detail both in the forum as well to xbox support.

My sole hope lies with xbox support, trying to reach the T10 devs and fix this. But I dont think, using the history as measurement, my chances are any good.

In 4 years I wrote multiple emails to that adres, clearly explaining the problems, where I had them, how to recreate them, etc. Never got a single responce, not even an automated mail.

And I do not have twitter.

But, because you took the time to respond to my thread, I tryd again and sent them a email.

I have a game breaking bug in FM7. My game crashes when going to the driver level up rewards screen, and it happens for me on Xbox and PC. So I can’t level up and therefore cannot get any prizes from leveling up.

I’ve put 6 days of game time already into FM7 when the bug happened, so I really don’t want to reset and start from scratch. I played Forza 7 so much when it released that I was in the first 0.05% to get the Seeker Elite achievement.

I’ve emailed forzafb@microsoft.com and did not even get the automated reply.

So I’m in the same distressing boat.
