What is telemetry in replays good for, as long as my gear shifting points are still not recorded correct?

It happened to me when I’d view the replay right after the race. In rivals I just skipped everything and watched the replay from the leaderboards. My shift points were correct.
I don’t know about freeplay replays yet. Try not viewing the replay after the race and just saving the replay, then viewing it on forza TV (or whatever they call it) after you’ve exited the event and report back to me.
