Not quite sure why you keep referring to shift, project car’s is developed by slightly mad not EA yes slightly mad produced shift under EA but EA had the say.
Project car’s is very heavily influenced by is very community, your said before its not been played on a console as yet, you are wrong many people have played a demo of project car’s at Euro myself included and it plays nothing like shift, why because it isn’t EA’s series.
You also talk about hype and I agree PC has been highly hyped but then let’s be honest T10 are not stranger’s to this form of media.
Project car’s from what I’ve played and seen is easily as graphical as forza 5 and yet it still has weather ect ect ect.
I was going to reply to you before but mostly I feel it’s a pointless pursuit responding to a moderator on this forum unless it’s a response of agreement.
I don’t wish this response to be taken as a form of argument and I won’t reply further.
But I’m sure we both hope for a better Forza 6 and wish project car’s all the best.
It is the same engine Wolf, they’ve stated so. They also have plenty to say about EA influencing their decisions on Shift 1 and said it won’t happen for 2 yet that came out and EA didn’t even pick them back up for a third installment.
A dev kit and a console are different beasts. A demo and a full game are different beasts.
Notice how I said “we hope”… It is simply a logical assumption/conjecture judging by what we know from FH2, so we can safely assume weather and perhaps night racing will be on FM6, along with more cars and tracks.
Logic states that the XB1 will struggle to run the game online with 16 players at 1080/60fps. Most new games still struggle to reach 1080/60 (Horizon is 30) on the XB1. Turn 10 will not do night/weather until they can do it right. At the moment FM5 struggles to run in a stable online environment as is. I would not count on night/weather and to be perfectly honest well over 50% of the online population struggle enough in perfect conditions. Flip the lights off and make the track slick and racing will be next to impossible.
I would really like them to polish what they have and make it great before adding anything and keeping the quite a few things mediocre
DITTO…night and weather racing will be a nightmare in public lobbies with the way some people drive, no thank u. Add tracks and the content we had in Forza 4 and I’ll be happy.
People really shouldn’t assume anything until hard info on what will be included with the FM6 is released. Assuming certain features and tracks will be included is what led to so many people complaining that FM5 didn’t have enough cars or tracks
A year on from launch, and my anticipation at forza5 on a new console. After all the hype and feeling of jealousy at people racing around Prague on," You Tube". I still have not forgiven Turn 10 for basically ripping me off. A year on the game is still on going and the content being added is what should have been in the game at the start.(cars and tracks). Don’t get me wrong. I feel Turn 10 were under a lot of Microsoft pressure to release the game as a day one, but if they were honest with me! They would have got my continued support. Instead we got a!“Wait until you see the game in a year’s time.” Well here we are. We have two new tracks( free as turn 10 point out in big capitals on their videos promoting the tracks, I feel should be free at the outset. As there was not that much content to begin with. Apart from a day one DLC ! Glad they got that in(lest we forget.) and a few reverse tracks. I love the Behemoth and Nurburgring, so thank you Turn 10 for them, but you made it sound I should be grateful for the addition! In your promotional videos.
Now I don’t drift or drag so I can only imagine the disappointment that those players in that genre felt at launch. But they had the same promise as I had about a," year on?" Ever since game launch the most friends in multiplayer lobbies i’ve seen is 2!
I wish I could have positive word to say a year from launch.
Regards.
