First off, I hope there are more showcases! One of favorite things in horizon is the showcases. I loved the depth in 2, but enjoyed more of them in 1. I can already see they put a lot of thought into them by the showcase in 3 and going by the sheer size I hope there are more than we had in 2.
Since there’s a much greater theme off road and backwoods going on, I think it would be really cool to face a bunch of buggies. Start by following a huge truck and out comes 3-4 buggies and they go along different paths, you need to beat them to the finish.
What kind of showcases would you guys like to see?
Something I’d like is 1-on-1 race against an extremely good AI driver with a unique racing personality (dirty versus clean etc). Horizon 1 had the occasional boss race and it was great. Horizon 2 never had a 1v1 race.
I guess it’s not really a showcase, but more of a showdown…
Also I like the flavor of the “Pugeot” event in Horizon 1. Everybody races a Turbo 16 up and down the mountain. I prefer this style of unique scenario. The “Race against Vehicle X” (jet, biplane, train, cargo plane) formula has already done it all…
