CAR VS Helicopter Showcase 360 version only???

By the looks of all the videos it’s 360 only.

Which may mean us on Xbox One get a variant of CAR VS CHOPPER and 360 ofc gets it as well but a second one, an ominous helicopter behind and armored jeep…hmmm, let me guess, it shoots at you the whole way and you have a health meter, if your car takes to much damage you lose if you get to the end and survive you win? Would make for a pretty cool showcase event tbh.
This ain’t Split Second,doubt we have anything shooting at our cars.
Yes that’s 360 only.
Xbox One gets car vs fighter jets, car vs hot air balloons, car vs airplane, and car vs train.
Xbox 360 gets car vs helicopter.
I think the Xbox One isn’t too poor off with this situation
I noticed this morning if you go to the Rivals tab, then the showcases tile, there are five on the XB1, one of which I hadn’t set a time in, despite finishing both finales and just over 100 championships. Didn’t have time to try it, but is anyone able to confirm they have a Rival Showcase they don’t have a time for?

The Ford Raptor event called North by Northwest had an issue with the leaderboards very early in the game. Many players, like myself, did the event and the times did not get saved to the leaderboard because they had some problems and so they froze that particular board. Eventually, it was re-opened and times began saving. Many players however, don’t spend time running the showcase rivals events so their times were never saved.
Personally, I have since gone back and set a time and at some point would love to go for a faster one. If anyone is missing a time on the leaderboards for a rivals event and they’ve completed both finales it will be the North by Northwest Ford Raptor event.
I also did not mention it because it’s the only showcase event where you aren’t competing with some sort of aerial vehicle.

That is a image from the Forza presents Fast and Furious which is out on the 27th.
I am fully aware what the screenshot is from and what it is for that wasn’t my point, I was simply opening up a discussion of possibility as to what the situation may assertain too.
All I was saying was, as this screenshot from the F&F expansion, to me, indicates a special mission, we already know from the expansion we’ll be “gathering cars” for tej and doing special challenges…so all I was saying then, that there is a chance, that this will be a “Car VS Helicopter” style showcase event where you’ve either:
A) Got to outrun it by creating a large enough “distance” gap around a tight course to reach the destination and escape, if you fall within the “gap” you lose
B) It’s an event where it’s just a simple “point to point”, the weather is bad so the chopper can only take a certain route, where as you in the jeep, can just take the fastest most direct route
C) UNLIKELY yes, and to comment above, split second?? Lol, i don’t remember helicopters shooting at you in that, all i remember is blowing the hell out of buildings and blowing everything else up, fun game but sorta “oh is that it” after a while, anyway that’s what i meant, there is no reason to say that it MAY not shoot at you at you have to survive as long as possible…the game has damage mechanics and performance impact effects in it so, yes it’s a long shot but you never know.
D) To maybe act as alternative to the above, you’ve got to avoid it’s EMP range and thus if you take too many hits you lose if you reach the destination you win, so it’s another avoidance kinda mechanic
I dunno…it was only wishful thinking, just throwing some ideas around (what’s wrong with that?). It more than likely is just going to be a special showcase point to point race and nothing more, on closer inspection it’s not a gun ship helicopter and those balls dropping down from it’s side mountings look like cameras so perhaps it’s a form of skill challenge where you’ve got to perform skills in areas but keep the chopper focused on you otherwise you don’t/can’t score?
Who knows, that’s the fun of this until we know for certain and can look back and go “lol wut” etc.
You don’t remember the helicopters bombing you in Split Second? I had a hell of a time getting through that race!!
