Fellow fm fans, after only 2 days with this game i wanted to reach out to you… I know turn 10 doesnt give a single you know what about our opinions. But i feel pressed upon to write something on this forum… im only gonna talk about the driving aspect of the game and the online portion, so here goes.
Who decided that destroying fm6 and releasing this piece of dog poo… Why not build upon the fact that fm 6 was basically a good game, and the driving experience was very good. Why did they make this a arcade game, we have need for speed and many other games for that. we need this to be a simulator. (i know its not but still, its okay) The look of the game is a pure joke, its like stepping back in time, a huge step back. the sound, wow what can i say its like they totally forgot how to use the sound that has been in every game since they started this franchise.
the driving experience is gone, i cant tell you how disappointed i was after just a few races, that its now a arcade racer. NO REASON FOR THAT… turn 10 has worked hard to be a good racing game, just to throw it away, for what. There is simply no reason or explanation why they would do this. what was going on during development that would make them decide this. I could go on about the sad state of this game but whats the point…
I remember the day i got fm 1 for the original xbox. i remember Maple vally and New York long what a treat it was to drive, over the years they removed some features from the game but they kept the game fun and interesting. Till now, Have you ever seen a franchise implode like this after so many games… I cant think of one. All they had to do was add the tracks and improve the tracks like they have, fix a few bugs, like ghosting players that are a lap down so they cant keep wrecking people. Add a few new cars and I think the community would have embraced this game…
Turn 10 you couldnt have dropped the ball any harder. The games is a JOKE. the multiplayer interface is a joke, gameplay is a joke. I hope the community will show their disdain by going back to fm 6 and making fm 7 lobbies ghost towns… thanks for listing to my rant.
PS my original account got band by xbox for using bad language towards the fm players that were only there to wreck players and troll the rest of us. do disregard the driving since 2016. Ive been on fm since the start.
