Where you can drive a 19000lb armored truck. I am sooo glad R&D time was wasted on this ‘motorsport’ vehicle.
Did anyone, anywhere, ever… EVER! request or even contemplate something so ridiculous? If so, nice one! No really.
SUVs, Trucks and… er… 9 ton lead boxes should never be in this series. Horizon? Sure why not. A track based game? Come on! Race cars, sports cars, you know… cars.
Stay focused T10. Or better yet, get focused! For real. You’re losing touch with your core players. You’re wasting time and resources. You’re taking away features that everyone appreciates with every version. You’re not listening to legitimate requests.
Its sad that you have the greatest console racing game series ever, and you are slowly letting it lose its lead. With other racing games in the mix, you may look back in the not to distant future and wonder why you’re not on the podium any longer. Unlikely, as we are suckers for a damn great game. Me included. And they know it.
Calm down, these cars were developed for FH2 in the first place so the majority of the work done for these trucks was on the FH2 budget anyway. And it’s nice to have them in FM6 as well, brings a little bit of extra variety. I play Project CARS as well and there the variety of the cars is very small, they don’t even have classic road cars. But I like P.CARS for other things, mostly immersion and track variety.
A true racing / automobile fan won’t stick to one game anyway so play whatever you enjoy!
The cars are not a direct port over, there definitely was some work to be done and that’s time wasted. The armored vehicle has never been in any game, ever. There’s a reason for this: because it’s not just silly, it’s stupid.
My PC driving set up a has: iRacing, Project Cars and Dirt Rally. My Xbox driving setup has Forza and Horizon, so I do enjoy many games.
But I think they have been wasting resources, when there are a lot of things that the majority of us would really like to see back in the game or added to the game. This is a small example of a bigger problem. I’m sure their data mining and marketing has shown that they’re doing the right thing. I’m sure their numbers for sales and DLC is doing really well. Don’t get me wrong. They know how to make a pretty, great controlling, well marketed game. But they’re starting to take away from the things that have made the series fun. I don’t think anybody can deny that.
The good news is YOU don’t have to use any of these cars and it didn’t take any of YOUR time to add them to the game. So just forget about them and move on.
I also don’t have any use for the SUV’s and armored truck, or Limo or any of the silly cars in the series. But that doesn’t mean other gamers don’t like them or use them. The Fast and Furious Series is arguably an important movie in terms of the large number of car enthusiasts it attracts. So these cars are important to many people include Turn 10. The same goes for many of the SUV’s VW but, etc… Just becuase you and I don’t care about them doesn’t mean they are not important.
…I’m just happy to see the large collection of Race Cars this go around.
What we don’t know and will likely never know is whether or not including that monstrosity was required to get the other, far more popular, monstrosities from that series of films. It might just be part and parcel of some package deal and part of the cost of doing business.
with all the trucks in the game, its easy to spot the demo derby guys online. if you see a truck in an online race, more than likely, they are trying to crash into you.
