WELCOME BACK PACK a waste of money

I recently bought the Welcome Back care pack. this is the first time I’m feeling fleeced by Forza !! The cars are useless. I bought the pack to use the Supra in a seasonal event. found out after the “welcome back” version ( which appears to be identical to the standard version ) was an ineligible car for the seasonal event. additionally, the livery created, will not download on to the standard version…
.
What are the welcome pack cars good for???

Pending any future advances, this pack is a waste of money…

It’s not a waste of money when you look at it as a time saver pack. Yeah the 5 cars seems like a waste, but they are still exclusive and really serve just to save some millions credits that you would otherwise spent on cars and tunes. The house is not really worth it either since it unlock the Promo, not the most useful thing. But it still cost 700k. Now the free car voucher is what makes this pack really worthy of 5$, imo.

The fact that the cars are different models for the purpose of liveries, tunes and event restrictions is quite annoying, I get that.

The cars themselves have given me quite some advantage early game though. Especially the Taycan, Apollo and the Bronco really helped.

And indeed the voucher is quite nice. I currently save it for when I only have one very high value car left to collect.

It made for a decent starter pack. I used a few of the cars in several early races. Which is what I’d expect a Welcome Pack to be good for. You don’t put a Welcome mat in the middle of the living room, tromp mud across the floor to wipe your feet on it, then complain that it isn’t doing much good.

welcome pack cars dont have same stats to normal car.
They are same as “FE” cars
For example Taycan Welcome pack is 100kg lighter in S1 (normal with max weight remove= 1840kg vs 1750kg)
With differnet parts option

And yes it is dumb. I dont like FE/special cars being some kinda of stronger version of the same car in same PI

Toyota Supra, Bronco and Taycan WP editions are actually wastly different then their standart variations. WP supra has more grip then regular supra (and thats why its better in s1 class compared to regular.) Apollo IE can achieve sligtly lighther weight which works better for technical tracks.

The 2x weekly SuperWheelspins are worth it now considering the are more rarer in this than 4.

Car Pass is also quite good depending on what is released.

Neither of those things are part of the Welcome Pack.

Apologies yes that’s the VIP pack.

Of course its a dumb pack. What did you expect? i can say that i only used the T supra so far. The others… hell no. I could love the Taycan, but since it has no engine sound AT ALL, i cant. So, the only car from that pack i DID use to a some extend in the beginning was the supra. And thats it. Just one car. You get cars so fast in this game, that you wont even notice if you dont even use a single car from any pack…
