Don’t get me wrong. Stealing you’re wife’s car and pumping it silly is fun SOMETIMES - but does it have to ruin hotlapping from Classes E to B!?!?
What do you think the chances are in the future of Turn 10 rebalancing a few over powered cars in the game eventually?
I’m doing very good times with my Porsche 550in d class, most of people just watch the leaderboard and download meta tunes instead of try somethibg new…

It is because no one has time to level up from E class. It’s crazy.
Ye it’s tedious to level cars in general…
That should be amount for in the stock PI, not after PI homologated. The whole PI system is broken. That’s why we don’t have same PI for cars in MP Spec series.
This is why they should add custom lobbies… Don’t like something then ban it in your custom lobbies.

It’s the same with formulas in P event. And there will be allways most of peeps who will pick “meta” cars which work better than others. It’s the same in featured GT and Touring cars. There are some cars, which are faster and that’s all.
I don’t like it either. But what we can do there?!
I just trying to pick something and get fun with it until i max it to lvl50. If you choose 1-3 specific cars to drive in each class, lets say you are driving about with 50 cars from more than 500, then where is the fun and enjoyment?!
You can’t do anything there. It will be like that allways and you must accept it. You must choose, how to enjoy the game. Rather it will be climbing in MP ladder with certain cars, or have fun with what you can imagine.

And what you think about upcoming S class? There will be the same. I can bet there will be a lot of formula mazda cars…

And it’s not PI system wrong. You have too much freedom with upgrades and tuning. That’s my opinion.
In older games there wasn’t like that. Nowadays you can swap and put engines, make almost every car to AWD. And with all of this and with all cars available, there will never be a “fair” conditions. It’s too much to balance everything. There will allways be “meta” which just works better for most of peeps.
I’m wrong a bit. There is limited M3 spec series in featured. And in this event everyone is equal, even in tuning setups most is closed, you can just change tire pressure. And again, i saw in forums that it sucks. You can’t tune a car “for your driving style”. But nobody can. And i liked that event. I would love to see more events like this.
But again. T10 can change it. MP rank works in both. Featured and Open. They could just hold rank system only for featured MP. And there goes peeps who want challenge, who want prove and test their skills. And let Open events for fun without any rank system.
Yea there will be a complete mess. But for me, it is a mess already. I want to pick my car to race, not a car which does work in current meta.
But you could abuse that as well… Don’t like the fastest driver? Ban. Don’t like the guy that overtook you? Ban.

But, IRL, Miata is just a great platform. I’m on the bumper of Mustangs and 911 in the uphill esses and Grand Course infield at VIR, and I’m running stock power. And 200tw tires. My buddy’s red NA w/ <500hp is an absolute weapon.
I would LOVE to see Spec series style races. Plenty to choose from IRL, (Miata, E30/36/46, Mustang, C5…) but in Forza it’d be wide open.
A 2013 BRZ with the body kit can challenge them on 3/4 of the tracks.
We have a too time consuming car leveling problem. That’s why it is the only car I used. I’m busy. I don’t have the time. I actually have a lot of free time but I still just don’t have the time for this.
The only way you fix this for online is by
A. putting the cars in a meta multi class all their own.
Or
B. make sure when these cars reach certain PI they are automatically removed from the main class hoppers and rivals. (Put into the meta class here too) [I prefer this method]
So right now the 90’ Mazda MX-5 would have a Meta E and Meta D classification when it gets like 5 PI from top of class. (They can adjust PI limit till it’s balanced)
There are some cars that are just too good in the right hands but I don’t think they should be removed entirely. I should still be able to drive a stock 90 Miata or slightly tuned in the problem division.
I think it’s too early to talk about op cars, this morning i made a setup for my Porsche 550 and had 3/4 laps in Nurburgring GP posting the 25 in the world time on rivals, i did It with Porsche 550 cause it’s one of my favorite cars…
We have a lot of cars that can fit in the d400 with a lot of combinations, and i doubt any cars has already been tested with the right tune…
In open maybe. In featured there is already youtube videos where compairing class specific cars.
ye well in open you have a lot more variables, in featured you can’t build your car
Yes it may be just a tad early by now but I think getting a system where these cars can be controlled is something to look into. From every Forza ever there has been meta cars found, looking at you Whilly’s Jeep from FM6. Talk about annoying seeing 6 of those that you knew you couldn’t catch.
