On the full alt. circuit, there is a white line that crosses the track, a timing line. It causes the lap to foul. How annoying! Here’s a link to a vid:
I’m pretty sure it dirtied your lap for drafting at the exact same moment and has nothing to do with the sector line.

It dirties your lap for drafting? That’s a farce if it does. I am not sure I was though, I was the same distance behind the whole lap and his was dirtied in the same place, I think. All I heard on the mic was a howl of frustration from him in the same spot.

Drafting and getting drafted dirties both. Front and rear car !
Why ? Because it makes both cars faster, just like in real life. And exactly this is simulated inside the game.
In old Forza games people used drafting to improve their laptimes on the worldwide leaderboard.

Ah man, the draft cost me too cause i was braking. I feel hard done by!
easy …don’t go for lap times during multiplayer racing, do it in free play with no drivatars if you want clean laps

We’re having fun, just spending laps out maneuvering each other but making clean laps with the odd reasonable time. I like making clean laps, even when I’m racing someone.
