Was the season update time changed?

I’ve been playing Forza Horizon pretty much weekly since 2019. I’ve technically been playing way longer but missing several cars in FH3 I will never obtain gave me this intense sense of FOMO i’ve never been able to shake off.

I’m EST time, and it’s currently 9:52 PM on a Wednesday night as of typing this. I’ve put off the week entirely and am kinda rushing to finish it this evening. I hop on, and it says I missed the week and it’s already now Winter? I thought it updated every Thursday at 9:30 AM EST.

If this was changed, the developers did a terrible job of telling everyone. I’ve already missed cars because the terrible UI didn’t clearly indicate certain cars were up for grabs from specific challenges (early 2023 championships, missed plenty of those)

I’m just fuming right now if this is the case because I’ve been missing a handful of cars I’ve desperately been trying to get, only for the freaking developers to neglect them after months and even years. So many cars haven’t came back into the Playlist, and when they do there’s no indication other than occupying the same space that my eyes normally gloss over because 99% of the time it’s always just a 25,000 Cr. autoshow car (and whose to say it’s avariant of a pre-existing car that has an extremely similar name)

I’m so sick of this playlist and considering after half a decade I’ve finally missed a week seemingly, I’m think about just forgetting it altogether. I’m so done with how Forza Horizon handles their post launch cars.

It changes, as always, at 2:30PM UTC. For eastern US, that would be 10:30AM on standard time and 9:30 on daylight savings time. It’s never been linked to a specific version of daylight savings AFAIK.

You have not missed the current week. If your game shows the wrong season, restart the game.

It’s been Winter for a week, Spring is about to start. If you have restarted hopefully your progress is shown. There’s been a couple of times where I started the game and the playlist had 0 points listed but it has always recovered from that.

The weekly time has been the same since March and will continue through October when the US time zone clocks change.

Every series info thread pinned at the top of the forum includes the seasonal schedule with dates and times localized for each user’s time zone:

If you’re having an issue with the season switchover, quit the game so it’s not on Quick Resume and restart your device.

Yeah so turns out it’s ME who missed the week. I missed Autumn entirely. Oh well
