Wanna bet?

Forza Horizon 2 was just announced today. To no surprise they also showed the cover car which is an amazing pick in my opinion. Now last time this happened, the SRT viper was the original horizon cover car. After all the hype T10 did something nice and came out with the free SRT viper download for Forza 4. Anyone think there going to do the same with the new Huracan and F5?

I’m guessing the Huracan won’t make its Forza Motorsport appearance until the sixth.

Well here is a quote from the IGN article about Horizon 2, “In making the leap to Xbox One, Forza Horizon 2 will include hundreds of cars, according to Playground Games, headlined by the 2015 Lamborghini Huracán.”

I’m fully aware of its debut in Horizon 2. Try to read my posting again - this time, however, a bit more carefully. Based on the question at hand, it shouldn’t be too difficult to decipher. And … go.

Really, did that make you feel better? Grow up.

There are actually people who are fairly new to the Forza franchise and as such might not realize that there is some difference between Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon. They are both discussed, advertised and have forums at www.forzamotorsport.net after all, so its not that far of a reach to see how I misunderstood your post. I was only trying to share information I had found.

SOOOOO Sorry!

Shadow is differentiating between Forza Motorsport games and Forza Horizon games.

My prediction is the Huracan may or may not make it into Forza Motorsport 5.

That thought crossed my mind after posting but figured it would be clarified, thanks.

I don’t see them using it as the cover photo car for Horizon 2 and then offering it in Forza 5 before the release of Horizon 2. So my bet is that if we do see it in Forza 5 it’ll be after the launch of Horizon 2.

SatNite used to be indecisive, but now he is not so sure!!! : )

Oohhh I really hope soo!! Its a very beautiful car.

I would not be surprised in the slightest if history repeats itself, but I’m not expecting it. I’m suspecting the Huracan will appear in a regular paid DLC pack, such as the July pack.

Agreed. I don’t expect to see the Lambo in Forza 5, but I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised either if it was in July’s pack.

Although, I don’t agree with your signature on these forums. :stuck_out_tongue:

We can only hope for the Lamborghini Huracán to show up in Forza 5, but we shouldn’t wish for it.

(See what I did there? lol)

Here we go again… How’s about you two go yell at eachother in the PMs and let the rest of us have a nice conversation?

I can see why everyone has there own opinion. Even though the SRT was the horizon cover and we had early access in F4 doesnt mean the same would go for the new lambo. But, in this case wouldnt we all like history to repeat itself lol? At the absolute worse im sure if it isnt a free download, it will atleast be a payed dlc. But time will tell. Just let it ride for now.

I’m sure there will undoubtedly be a little inter-brand cross-fertilisation in the run up to FH2 launching but I don’t think it will be anything big.

I wonder sometimes if the rights to certain cars can be shared. playground games obviously was allowed to use the SRT viper in there game. Are they allowed to share that right with motorsport? I mean they share everything else right. So why not make the lambo a dlc car. If it doesnt happen oh well. We can still look forward to the July dlc.

Don’t be confused. Playground Games is developing the game but is using licensed assets that belong to Turn 10 Studios. Everything, as you mentioned, is susceptible to being shared; so, we’ll most certainly see the Huracan in Forza Motorsport, its just a matter of when.

Would be nice if it would make it and the Renault Clio Williams that is supposed to make it into a Forza game still hasn’t made it into 5 yet either if it doesn’t show up in next month car pack I guess we will see it in Horizon 2.

What’s so special about it?

Looks like a nice lambo like all the others from the past decade.

I get the Viper was the comeback of a great car, but what’s so special about this thing? I don’t get the uproar over it and the 2015 mustang.

The huracan is very nice refresh. Thought not changing the powertrain is foolish its still a very nice new car. The new mustang is another sweet looking car. Its all in the eye of the beholder. Plus its NEW gives us gamers and car enthusiest an opportunity to race n tune and customize to our liking.
