VW Type 2 De Luxe Drift Build Help

Afternoon guys,

Using some of the (super helpful) open tunes found on this board I got my Type 2 driveable but lately I’ve had the (admittedly) silly idea of turning it into a drift car. I looked up a few YouTube videos on how to adjust your car for drifting but I just can’t seem to get it as stable as I think it could be. Here’s the current set up:

So what am I doing wrong?

I’d swap in a more powerful engine and aim for the 450-550 H.P. range, with such little horsepower, that you’re running, I’d be surprised if you could even kick the back end out. And personally I’d lower the rear camber a bit down to -1, as well as widen the tires all the way front and rear, I think that might help your stability issue. Hope this helps!
