It’s pretty crappy in general, having 2/3 of you options be the same track just either in day, rain, or night… but I’ve noticed something else going on this past week, I was in A class hoppers today and we voted for the track, one of the visible ones was Silverstone full circuit in the rain, wasn’t voted…but it remained as an option after every race afterwards.
Is this a new thing turn 10 is doing or a bug? It’s very annoying having the exact same track as one of your options time and time again, it’s as if one of the voting slots gets stuck on one track, this has happened to lobbies I was in a lot this past week.

I’ve seen that too where one track will stay as a choice for 3 or 4 races and then vanish, only to be hiding under the Random button after all.

Sounds like the game really wants us to play that track that nobody wants to race on. Probably a bug.
Yep. It’s been this way since FM6 came out. I rarely race in the public hoppers now (had enough of being crashed and trolled) but remember this being a feature of track selection.
Something I suggested a while ago on another thread was having a track playlist every month - That would be the same 30 or so track ribbons rotating for the period of a month with say another 10 or so that were in the mix permanently. I thought it might help to encourage people to learn specific tracks and improve their racecraft on them and so in theory stop as much crashing at turn 1 etc.
I think they do something similar in the leagues. There’s a regular contributor on here who kindly lists them every week. It would possibly mean taking the choice option away but as the OP said it doesn’t always seem much like a choice anyway

No doubt this is a real thing. I much preferred how it was in forza 4 with a set rotation. At least you knew where you were. A bit of consistency might help online racing a bit too with reference to the truly abysmal driving in there.
I cannot see how that’s a bug, its an option until you race it and then it goes away.
So a lobby that keeps voting not to race a track is eventually forced to? If that’s intentional, then it’s one of the stupidest bits of game design I’ve ever seen.
I get that some tracks are marmite and those who like them should get a chance to race them even if they’re not generally popular (ovals, for example, often get voted for by a quarter of the lobby but rarely get chosen), but a track that gets literally 0 votes two times in a row shouldn’t keep appearing as a choice or showing up as a Random track in that lobby. No one is voting for it because no one likes it and if you force people to race it loads of people will just leave the lobby.
From my experience if a track gets a vote it stays in the choice untill it has no votes or its lost the vote a specific amount of times. I have no issue with that as it means the people who voted get another chance.
What I do have issue with is voting random and getting a diffrent version of the tracks you were trying to avoid. This happens way to much.
There should be a rule in place that does not alow a track from the same location within 10 races. Problem solved
