Volvo/Ford 2.5 Inline 5 Engine Swap

Volvo’s B2524T3 engine from the Modular family, also used by Ford in a few of their performance-oriented cars in the late 2000s under the names “Duratec ST” and “Duratec RS”, is a perfect fit for an engine swap option for many cars in Forza. Particularly the version of the engine used in the beloved Ford Focus RS Mk2, with a stock power output of 300hp, though a weaker version from the Volvo C30 could also be available for some cars as well.
As of currently, there is only one car in Horizon 5 that has a 5 cylinder engine swap option. Making this engine available as a swap for more cars would significantly increase the variety of upgrades. It would fit just right in cars like the Ford Focus RS Mk3, the Volvo 242, the Ford Escort Cosworth, or even the Mazda MX-5 NA. In fact, it could be available in almost every Hot/Super Hot Hatchback from almost any brand, excluding VWAG brands which have their own unique 5 cylinder engines.
I hope to see more engine swap options included in the future in both Horizon 5 and the new Motorsport.

I’d love to see an engine swap like this for the Volvo 242 Turbo. It really needs some newer Volvo engines like an inline-5 of the 850 or Donkervoort/Focus RS and the Polestar V60!
