Volkswagen Golf GTI MK.I 1983 - Car Model Inaccuracies

The Mk.I Golf GTI from 1983 you can buy in-game is only available as right-hand drive with a MPH speedometer.
As the volkwagen golf is a european car brand from Germany, it was manufactured as a left-hand drive car with a km/h speedometer. Only a few gti’s were manufactured for the english market with a right-hand drive. So why is that the default voor Forza Horizon 5.

Also, a car from 1983 did not have ABS or traction control, but in-game it has. I would like the car to be more historically accurate, so no technical advantages you see on modern cars.

Because a UKDM model was scanned and they cannot just modify the model to turn it into a LHD model for mainland Europe.

THEN TURN THEM OFF

You don’t have to SHOUT!

You can only turn of ABS for all cars, not simply for one. This is just lazy programming. It doesn’t matter how old the car is, even cars from the 60’s in this game have abs and traction control, so far being accurate. And as this is a forum to report inaccuracies, I report it as such.

And after all this time the game is out, they still cannot scan a LHD model? Because it’s not just mainland Europe. LHD is prevalent in most of the world and this car is manufactured as LHD by default.

Not being able to modify assists for specific cars is not an inaccuracy but an in-game mechanic, if you want to be able to modify them separately for all cars then look for different suggestions within Horizon Features and vote for them.

No. They haven’t been able to scan a Mk4 Golf R32 for TWENTY years, do you really think they’d go out their way to make a new model for a fairly accurate car within 8 years?
