Nope, it will be dead if the Mk9 is revealed because the 8.5 is the last Golf with an engine and the Mk9 will be Electric only so Mk9 is dead.
The 8.5 is the last hurrah for the Golf with an engine, so it’s given a short time left. You said “Rest in peace” way too early, it’s not dead. Say that when the Mk9 EV-only Golf is revealed.
Even if they killed the manual for the 8.5, it actually performed slow, so that’s VW’s choice. This means the Golf 8.5 GTI & R will be the very last true Golf in the world.

This is not what the GTI is supposed to be it was only in manual for the earlier models but I guess they don’t care about tradition anymore
DSG is too overrated no wonder the manual is dead on driver oriented performance models

I’d rather have this in FH5 than a facelifted R
And also the manual isn’t worth having in because A. the game isn’t real life and B. manuals don’t make the DSG sounds
I wish it’s PSG if comes to FH5

I dont want to do arguments on transmission since ManteoMax is very serious about this I prefer the manual but lets not do arguments
Rustic was probably also caught doing arguments on what transmissions so thats why he doesnt talk about that aspect anymore
