Actually, I changed my mind on that. I liked DSGs now, since the most recent Golf R is a manual and tons of Golf R fans got mad over it…
Speaking of that, one Golf R fan named @Boriis7, helped me realize why DSG is so good. So it made sense why DSG is worth it for VW Golf R, all because it’s a maximum spec unlike the Manual one. But that doesn’t mean I hate manual. I still love them btw.

For a car of this age a dsg would sound terrible I don’t like dsg golfs of the modern 2010s and 20s but technology wise it does make sense and even tho for this Golf generation I prefer the GTI
But the DSG farts make it sound fun 
At least tho, even if this is Forza, this is a game and it needs to have cars in maximum specs, but you can buy a manual in real life.
But I understand your decision on preferring the Mk1 GTI. You can just enjoy that in peace. 
I meant the 5th gen Golf which in my opinion for technology of that time a dsg isnt worth it

I think the polls up top were from the European market, and they are missing a VERY important variant!
The base model Rabbit with the legendary 2.5L inline 5. They sound amazing. TONS were sold across U.S, Canada and beyond, and when built and turbocharged can make upwards of 1,200 horsepower at the wheels. Need proof? Search Youtube for 1320 Videos feature on the 2.5L swapped MK3 Golf from CSP motorsports. Front wheel drive, h-pattern 4 speed dogbox running 8.45 at 176 in the 1/4 mile. Thats his record anyway, but in the video he runs 8.5 seconds.

If this was to be added back into the game, I think it should an EU spec version of it because I’m not keen on the US spec in FM4, it doesn’t look right
