You can buy the VIP and car pass seperately online at the xbox store as well whether you have a physical copy or digital
hi guys ! I’ve one question about the game editions and related cars (like the VIP cars pack). Is it possible to get that cars later even if i’ll buy the standard edition (because i want the hard copy), or that cars are strictely related with the deluxe or ultimate editions ?? THANKS FOR ANSWERING
You can buy EVERYTHING separately… But you cannot get the early access.
Ultimate Edition is effectively cheaper, if you plan on buying all the content available on day 1.
Obviously the Car packs will likely include 1 free car, though individual car pricing might not be an option this time around, I would assume if only 1 car in the pack was to your liking, you would save money by purchasing JUST that car, rather than the whole pack, or the Season pass.
I have purchased each car in ALL of the Forza games, aside from Forza Horizon 2 (which I actually bought the Car Pass for but never the Porsche pack) which I have since sold. All the other game I just bought the car packs as I saw fit. 1 car of interest… I just buy that car. 2 cars of interest… I buy the car pack.
The season pass effectively gives you 1 car pack for free… if you bought them individually. Buying The ultimate edition basically saves you $20 off of buying all the DLC separately.
Which is a good thing, if you like to have $20 rather than a disc.

They are free
Have you actually bought the cars ingame? They are not going to magically show up on your garage.

Mine say pre order, when I click them it says I’m too early.
Similar issue for me, I didn’t get the Ford GT cover car for playing the demo and shortly after I started getting my Free cars the ones I didn’t get to download dissapeared.
Reinstall the ones that say pre order. Restart game… problem solved thats what i did

I’ve not played FM6 yet but if it’s like FH2 and FM5, the DLCs may show purchased but you still have to go in to the car store in game and ‘buy’ all the DLC cars to add them to your garage. They should be free to buy.
I know it can be bought separately in the US, but in Australia the VIP pack is still Bundle Only (http://store.xbox.com/en-AU/Xbox-One/Dlc/Forza-Motorsport-6-VIP/3bb0ee26-1273-40e4-b4a4-95cad5b05a80). They are running out of time if they want to make it available to all by launch. Will be disappointed if Australians will be made to wait several months to purchase VIP separately (or perhaps it will never be available to purchase separately for those in Australia). The Australian equivalent of Gamestop is EBGames and they do not sell it.
Started FM6 Ultimate right after the embargo period. Had to do a small download. OK. Completed all the welcome races etc. Very, very nice.
When I was able to, I went into ‘Find Cars’, from there the first tab of the Manufacturer’s selection is labelled ‘Free’. This is where you will buy your cars for free, but this is dependant on ensuring your DLC’s have downloaded and installed. While the digital download did take a couple of days, and the XBox One Console was fully shutdown, it was all ready to go after the embargo period. I have had no problems. All of the cars were there, all 38 free cars from the DLC’s and rewards, including the 25M Credits.
Oh, wait, I haven’t got my 2017 Ford GT, I’m sure it will arrive soon. I can wait for that one.

i have the same issue here no free cars tab. i also have no access to the vip rivals events
tried to uninstall all add ons with the ultimate and install again but still not there and they all say installed and purchased in the marketplace i did however get the ford gt
It all worked fine for me.
- 12x forza reward cars went straight into my garage
- I bought the free cars from Team Forza pack, Pre-order car, Fast & Furious pack, VIP pack from Find cars
- Ford GT message popped up as i was importing vinyl groups from FM5, i then downloaded it from the gift message
