VIP membership issues

I purchased the Collector’s Edition of Forza Horizon (I know, I’m behind the times). It came with 3 DLC codes, for the Day One DLC pack, 3 tokens, and the actual VIP membership and cars pack. All three codes redeemed, and show up in my Download History on my 360. I got the tokens, and was able to get the Day One DLC added.

The problem I’m having is the VIP membership part. Even though I redeemed the code, and it shows up on my account, when I’m in the in-game marketplace, it wants to charge me $9.99 for the VIP content. I spoke with Xbox Live support and did some troubleshooting, but no dice. They told me to post on here, so here I am.

Anyone know of a fix, or is there a server issue, or what’s going on?

Thanks!

Have you tried deleting the VIP game same and re-installing it?

BTW, I’m no expert! Just trying to help.

Yep, deleted the actual downloaded data off the Harddrive, deleted my profile, cleared the cache, uninstalled dashboard updates, restarted, redownloaded everything. The Horizon servers just don’t seem to recognize I have the license attached to my profile on their end. For the record, it also doesn’t show on my profile here on the website, but the Day 1 DLC does (which was redeemed the same day).

A friend once showed up as 0 for their Forza total, driving since etc. It did go back to normal but by itself! Hopefully, someone with the same problem and solution reads this…

I did notice that my forum profile isn’t syncing up with my actual data, but that’s the least of my worries compared to being out $10 worth of DLC. I can only hope this fixes itself, since there’s nothing I can really try from my end and it sounds like no one from Turn10 ever checks the forums for the older games.

For your info showing zeroes here in the forums - it is a known bug and is discussed in the Forum FAQ. Shouldn’t actually be an issue - just a display issue that happens to most of us from time to time and usually sorts itself out.

For your issues with the DLC - XBox Live are the ones who run those systems and should be able to fix it but they are frequently useless. You could try an email to T10 at forzafb@microsoft.com. You WILL get an autoreply, and may never get a direct response but if they can deal with this issue for you it will be handled when someone has the time. No guarantee but your only choice for contact.

Got the same problem here, the support agent tell me post here…

I am having the same problem. Xbox Live support was pretty much useless. I sent an email to T10.
