Question. I haven’t played Forza since FM4, so some things are a bit different. I believe i just found out how to browse ALL vinyls without keywords or typing in the creator’s gamertag. Seems more hidden and harder to figure out than FM4 was. Anyway…

First, when you upload a vinyl to the “storefront”, is the art automatically locked?

Another question. The “Cashing In” achievement- Earn 50,000 credits from the community using your Design. What does that mean exactly? I don’t believe it means selling your vinyls because there’s no option to sell when you upload it, right? So does that mean when someone downloads my design and applies it to their car, then they amass CR50,000 from winning races earned while using that car with my design?

If someone downloads a full car design, you get paid. If they like the design, you get paid again, and if they use the design on their car, you get paid yet again.
Get paid $50,000 and you get the cheevo.

Vinyls themselves do not contribute to this, best as I can see.

Shared vinyls also earn credits both for Download and Use (use = on a car in a lobby, downloading and tracing in paint booth doesn’t count as a use)
