so i was just wondering if there is a way to pull the video file from forza or to view the replay via a pc
or do you have to connect your xboxone to the pc first for it to save an actual video file?

Replays are not video files. Instead, they save the inputs and outputs of controls and physics data and “re-play” that race.
To get video footage of a replay you should use the Game DVR to record up to 5 minutes, and then head to a site like XboxClips.com in order to download the video.
I just use the Xbox app in Windows 10 to download all my Game DVR clips to the PC. Super easy.
Didn’t even know you could do that, cheers for the tip
same here didnt know 10 had an app.
unfortunate im still on w7
Yeah its rather easy.
There is 2 free app’s on your Xbox that you will need.
First Record the fotage with Game DVR.
Then upload with Upload Studio to a free Onedrive account.
Then you can watch the file on any device where you can use Onedrive.
