Drifting is impossible now. The triggers still rumble but the actual controller doesnt seem to anymore. When I would initiate a drift and rip the ebrake it used to rumble as I slid into the corner. Now it just does nothing and there is no way to gauge when my tires begin to grip up again. This completely makes the game unplayable for me. Looks like ill be booting up my 360 and playing some good ol forza 2 or 4 in the mean time. Hope this wasnt an intentional change and just a bug that gets fixed soon.
Yes I noticed the exact same thing after the update, i can no longer feel the draft. I hope they fix this asap, I really liked the ability to feels the rumble as i was drafting. It also appears liked they nerfed the drafting aswell, it dont seem to catch a draft as easily as when the expansion first came out…
It’s not a battery or PAD problem. I have an Ellite Controller and i have just updated after the Nascar update.
The vibration now is dead, the game now it’s just like racing on Need for Speed or another arcade game. We have lost all the car information on cornering, shifting, sliding…
The rest of the update was amazing, i love the new utilities , the BOX information, but PLEASE!, fix the most important on a racing game: the driving.
I think mine happened after the Porsche expansion. So I updated both of my controllers and it worked.
I’m not at home now, so I had my son in law go over and install the NASCAR expansion for me. I just called and asked him to check to see if I had this issue. He said he feels vibration, but it’s minimal. That’s probably because he just tried the first race in the expansion, and the track is fairly smooth.
I won’t be home for another 2 hours, at least, so I’m having him update my controllers, just in case.
I hope this is something they can fix without too much trouble. I would guess it has something to do with the enhanced drafting effects. But that an uneducated guess for sure.
Updating controllers wont do anything… For all intents and purposes you dont feel the attitude of the car at all.Only braking and acceleration will give you feedback…and draft.Pretty much horrible now…
No wheelspin vibration, no handbrake vibration. Can’t race with this, can’t drift with this. Not playing until this is fixed so either I spend the next eternity until it’s fixed painting or in another game. Just when they were showing promise…
The lack of rumble is probably why they feel looser. The only feedback is the haptic triggers at the extremes and we’re instinctively waiting too long to react. If I concentrate on being smooth it’s not as noticeable but trying to rotate the car for drifting or racing is not really fun right now.
Started testing some cars, the haptic triggers are fine, im getting some rumble on grass and rumble strips but not when you make contact with anything like crashing into a barrier for instance. Any kind of slide also has no vibration.
