Not a big deal but once you see it you can’t unsee it. Has anyone else noticed when you’re running the Nurburgring when it’s wet, the blacktop has a vertical banding graphically to it. For note: I’m playing on PC, 4K HDR, all maxed out.
I don’t notice this any other track during the rain and it might only be noticeable on the Nurburgring because there are sections that have long straights, so it is easy to stare and pick it out. There are strips of gradient brightness hard to describe unless you see it. I could try to take a screenshot but it is so minor it may not pick up. They are vertical and show on the reflected blacktop only during the rain as if it’s rendering in sections that are then pieced back together.
I can definitely not attribute this to my display as it does not it appear on the other tracks that have straightaways in the rain. The strips are of equal size and appear to go all the way across the screen, but are only visible because of the reflected black surface. It almost makes me wonder if this is a rendering thing that is happening with the Nvidia 1080ti. It definitely does render sections and put them back together for output.
