FH5 has a different sound for each exhaust upgrade… this game has one sound per car with any exhaust… and sometimes even swapping the entire engine won’t even change the sound. I V8 swapped my 74 Celica and it still had the i4 engine sound.

Seems to depend on the car but the ones that do change are minimal changes. Its not drastic like FH5.

Nope, appears to be fixed.
We are closing out this issue. The developers have noted this issue as Fixed as of Update 4.0 on 01.16.24
