Upgrade Heroes Business

I am just wondering why we need a second Barn Find Audi Quattro Sport in our garages? It wouldn’t be so bad if it could be removed. I am guessing the Auction House is likely to be flooded with “disposable” Quattro Sports!

Exactly. And there are tons of them in the auction house for minimal amounts. It really bothers me having two. At least I could remove every other award car from my garage. Furthermore, why would they think anyone playing the game at this time would need another Ford Coupe? or RX-7? Or Land Rover?

You see I call that a bug, and also when the voice says ‘turn around!’ that’s another bug, and it was even shown in the live show. Then there is the fact that you can’t switch to drift settings in the drift event without quitting… that’s a flaw in the programming. Then there is all the other cars in the garage that have to be deleted… that’s another flaw in the programming. Then the talking can’t be skipped… another flaw.

I just expect more from game programmers.

God you’re pretentious.

Hardly… what I posted is pretty basic.

i was hopeful for new batch of upgrade heroes but sadly like i was with the lego expansion i was disappointed. tho i love the game and series i get the impression that either pgg isnt trying any more, or are being rushed to soak up as much profit as they can.

same boring drive here drive there tasks, no new cars, a drift car that barely spins the wheels, garage filled up with more duplicates to go through and delete and the cars didn’t even come upgraded.
this really is a new low (well probably not as low as LEGO!)

They could at least have given us special edition cars with new engine swaps and what not, but no, NO SOUP FOR YOU!

Would have been nice if we got the upgraded versions of each car instead of the stock one.

Besides replaying each chapter, these upgrades will never be seen again. I’d have loved if we were gifted the modified versions as a added bonus for 3 stars across all chapters.

Yes, giving us cars we already had just to delete was dumb. Should have given us the upgrades

Would be nicer if you unlocked the tunes as kits for your existing car. That is a thing they can do, after all. Look at FE cars, they have their default FE spec listed as one of the kits you can pick.

But, really, this event wasn’t about being ‘fun’ or giving ‘rewards’, it was about completing a checklist and finally cranking out the last piece of so-called “content” now that the game’s more than a year old. You aren’t supposed to think about what you could get out of it. After all, the devs didn’t. You’re just supposed to do it and be glad it’s there.

Don’t ask questions. Just consume product and then get excited for next products.

Well… I’ve achieved all the challenges with 3 stars, is the RX-7 challenge really correct?
Excessive grip than stock, power as same as stock, gear ratio too wide. Cars used in other challenges had improved performance. However, the RX-7 feels rather degraded as a drift car.
Perhaps they prepared this car for players who are not good at drifting, but this RX-7 will probably be a more difficult car for beginners.

The presets for some of the cars used in the Drift Club were terrible, but this business RX-7 is one of the worst drift cars I have ever driven.
If they will continue to include drift cars in future Horizon Story, they should seek excellent drifters and tuners advice from the community.

Just why they couldn’t bring some new bodykits to go along with this update? It was the perfect time for it, having the cars with new upgrades being rewards for the new story to showcase the new content.
They already have a bunch of in house kits that didn’t make the cut from FM7’s Forza Edition cars, so modelling and licensing new stuff shouldn’t be an issue.
Plus the new NFS is coming in 2 weeks so an update with a focus on customization would be great right now to rival it.

Instead we get more rehashed content that one could say it should be part of the game since the launch. This garage where the story takes part had horizon decorations all over it since launch, there’s no way they didn’t had this planned from the get go.

It’s an afterthought, it looks to be made for new players when almost every person that has an interest in FH4 will already have played it, and the padding in this one is even worse than the other stories/businesses, drive here to get the car, drive the car back and drive it again to another point on the map to do the actual challenge, lazy and boring.

Can we not just have Claude from GTA3 in charge of all the stories + businesses? I’d rather have a mute gesturing to me than the awful dialogue all the actual characters in them spew out.

Horizon 4 was summed up perfectly in something Alex says in this story though, something along the lines of ‘Why are we always racing each other? Can we not just agree cars are the real winners?’.

A small boost to car collection influence and likely another 2 achievements that will be added in a later update, that’s about the best I can say about this.

I long ago started playing the game with the volume muted completely just so I didn’t have to listen to ANY of the incessant babbling. It totally ruins the game for me. I miss listening to the sounds of the cars, but for me it is worth it not to have to listen to the other stuff.

Some of it is a bit ironic how he tells us to take a look at the Bel Air, how beautiful it is… have you ever seen such beauty?

Most of us have owned a few of them already.

Can someone help me out with a question I have about the Upgrade Heroes Business.

Am I mistaken but once you unlock the Business does it unlock the same tunes as kits for an existing car of the same type in the Garage?

I have checked all 11 cars and the Tune kit that is available appears to be the same as the cars that you use in the Upgraded Chapters in the Business.

If I am correct, what is the point of the Business when you can make the upgraded cars yourself instead of grinding through yet another Business?

Ideas please!

the cars are the same as what you can buy

I read that information somewhere but when you add the upgrade kit in the Tuning Section of the Garage does it make them the same cars that are used at the end of each Chapter?

A missed opportunity by the devs to implement the modified / turnkey versions as the rewards.
