Update 11.0 Overview - Road to Race Month | August 12 update

Road Atlanta, Monza, Mt. Panorama are all fine. I pray it’s not a stupid oval or COTA

so far I’m loving update 11, my gameplay is smooth and a lot faster. Every menu entry, save tunes, everything is 5x better and faster than before. Just need a menu overhaul and the game would be good to go. Also the estimate fuel calculation pre-race is a lot faster as well.

I’m away on holiday so I’m unable to test the update until Sunday… and I don’t feel very sad about it, to be honest.

Road Atlanta is better than Monza IMHO but I really hoped for a brand new track or Bathurst. I’m tired with getting recycled tracks. And Ferrari F458 GTC is another choice of a car to bring back I cannot understand. At least reward cars are new and I like those models (especially Nissan, I hope it’s just the first of several modern JGTC cars to come).

Minimal changes to AI and no improvements to FRR is another disappointment. But I appreciate adding multi-class races and introducing a Rivals event with special cash reward, as I suggested some time ago. Also changes to shaders pre-compiling for Nvidia GPU users sound promising

You’re the only person I’ve seen who continuously has this issue. Must suck.

Have got it installed on 5 devices and have never seen this.

To be clear though, this isn’t T10’s issue, this is a Microsoft Store issue.

What do you think about it?

Tracks looks lovely, kinda miss the rust coloured sand on the track l but not sure how realistic that was. Shame about this Nasty visual bug though with tyres clipping in to track.

Was the problem addressed, in endurance races where cars did not become transparent when opponents were lapped?

There is a lot of bad intentions that could ruin an hour of racing. Maybe if they implemented blue flags, it could avoid many problems. If this rule is not complied with, it would be disqualified.

Why?

Shhh… Stop making sense. You know better!!!

So when does the new track make it into Featured Multiplayer rotation?

At this point I’m convinced the current team at T10 are incapable of making any substantial improvements to FRR and ai, the two most glaring issues with the game imo.

First impressions of Road Atlanta (in the AMR Pro, of course) are good. It definitely doesn’t feel like the Forza Motorsport 7 version, the turns through Sector 1 feel more pronounced and there’s a definite blindspot over the crest into Turn 2/3 now.

Turn 1 is flat in the AMR Pro by the way, you just gotta believe.

I was trying that while you were working your post. It’s a scary corner and you MUST commit to being flat, hesitate and taste the barrier.

Glad this is fixed for you guys. I never encountered it, but I am also the weird one here, with 3 screens instead of one.

It seemed to varry person by person. One guy in this post with an ultrawide its just ridiculous how bad it was. Mine was about half as noticeable as his. Thing is on a qled with local dimming like my tv, that absolutely ruined the contrast ratio for the whole game at night. Now its so much better its insane.

From the wording in the patch notes it seems like it was always supposed to be there, just black instead of white. Idk how some adult human went to work and confused the color white, with black.

Glad to see a mention of the shader compiling issue, going to start the game up tonight and see how it performs
