I’m working on the Street Racing accolades and came across this one:
Not What I Had In Mind - Earn a Lucky Escape combo in a street race while driving a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T
I’ve got the correct car but cannot complete the skill. I know what is required for the skill “Lucky Escape - Perform a Drift and Near Miss skill at the same time”, but I don’t think a Lucky Escape skill is possible during a race.
From what I recall from FH2-FH4, a Near Miss is only obtainable in free roam. During a race, “near miss” is replaced with “pass”. During a race, “Lucky Escape” is replaced by “Showoff”.

I have completed all of the Street Races. Now, each time I run one, there are no non-race cars during the race.
Can one of the mods comment please, and pass along to devs?
I also completed these accolades aswell so my guess its account based which isint fun at all cause it makes u not motivated to continue to attempt more till a fix.
I have completed all the street race accolades. There are times when there isn’t traffic so you may need to restart the game and don’t fast travel when you launch it again. Drive straight to a street race and don’t worry about winning. As soon as you see traffic, drift as close as you can and rewind until you get it.
I was having trouble with this but created my own course and got it on that.

I was trying to get it with my racing opponents but couldn’t - ended up being an oncoming car near the end of the race that I got it on.
Give it a try and a like if it works for you.
Thanks for all your input, folks. The thing I’m missing is a traffic car. I’ll try driving straight to a race without fast travel and see if that will generate a traffic car. Then I will try the blueprint created by @munta2go.

Thanks to all your help, I was able to complete this accolade. This is what I did, and some extra testing:
I used @RED RIDER NL advice and launched the game and drove straight to a street race. Finally, I saw several traffic cars.
I then used @munta2go share code and ran his race. Again, I had traffic cars.
I decided to drive to another race, and I still had traffic cars.
I then decided to fast travel to a race and low and behold, no traffic cars. I then drove to the next race, and no traffic cars. At this point, I restarted the game, drove to a race and had traffic cars.
I think it is safe to say that fast traveling to Street Races may lead to the loss of traffic cars. This makes the races much easier, but takes away the real challenge of Street Races.

I just restarted my game as I still had Duck and weave accolade to get - or so I thought.
I thought driving to a race would help with the traffic thing but just checked accolades and Street Racing is all gold!
How bizarre, I guess maybe I got it at some point and it didn’t acknowledge it until at some point where I missed seeing the notification.
Easiest way i found to do this one was to do it offline.Just drive around a bit 1st to make sure there is traffic about and then do a street race with the additional nonplaying traffic that is needed to get the achievement
The New Year doesn’t appear until next Thursday and the new series…if you look at the Playlist and tab to the future playlist tab (or whatever it’s called) you will see that Series 3 is entitled “New year”
