Simply use your quickest X/S2 car and spam Horizon Callejera 16 times, even with annoying traffic getting in the way occasionally it’s only taken me around 24 minutes of racing in the CCGT with Rock’s tune.

Wait you have to unlock it? I dont show any new icons on my screen after the update
Even quicker way is just use 0 sec. event labs blueprints.

There’s 4 of them and each one unlocks per 4 street races won.
Those actually count towards it?
worked just fine for me, was also doing that Callejera 4 times and got bored and decided to try event lab and it worked.
Well that is an egg on face moment for me 
Ohhhhhh okay, I didnt read the accolade description, so yeah I wouldnt see any new event icons.
I appreciate the new rivals events, but why are classes D and C missing? Makes no sense to me!

Yeah, no obvious reason for this, especially when the first race is C class! Hope that gets patched.
Yeah….I don’t usually race C or D class but find that strange myself. Might be the fact is wasn’t a priority or they didn’t quite finish them yet.
Gotta love the hardcore rivals community. Good job all on finding faster ways to compete these midnight battles.
Heh, can you just restart the eventlab blueprint 3 times to unlock the races each time or do you have to finish and re-load the race?

Edit 2: stopped working after the first batch for me as well……oh well….gives me a chance to test out more builds/tunes.
Eh, I just did the races as normal. Took about an hour and a half including the Midnight Battles themselves. It was actually one of my more enjoyable play sessions in a long time, actually.

Tried some event labs at first but after 3 they stopped counting.
Maybe a Dev input.
Just went back to normal street races after that. Still quite a few to go but I think I’ll just stay on this method for now.
Confirmed….stops working after a few event lab tries. Might be a random bug to.
I enjoyed the new routes but the Celica race was my favorite. I also did 16 full street races, no eventlab. Testing my Civic Type R tunes for the weekend.

Why is there no in game news around midnight battles such as the fact they are now available and what you need to do to unlock it?

Took roughly 12 hours to unlock and complete fourth and last battle. All that to win 4 cars I already had. “Best story” some say…
Each race is about two minutes, so let’s say three minutes to include loading etc. 3 x 20 = 60 minutes. What on earth were you doing for the other 11 hours?
