Unlocking The Midnight Battles - Quickest Way

Or at least place the starting line underneath a set of street lamps…lol.

Opted to do 16 regular street races rather than 1 second eventlabs because 1) I prefer to do things the way they were intended and 2) out Internet is still degraded after last month’s earthquake (surprised I was able to download the update in the wee hours of yesterday morning).

To get the accolades more quickly, you use the right cars each time you do a midnight battle.

#1 - Untuned Mustang (C class)
#2 - Any Honda (B class)
#3 - Celica (A class)
#4 - Lamb (S1 class)
#2 or 4 again - drift tuned A class Trueno or S1 Forumla Drift. Took it slow and stopped after each Ultimate Skill Chain to get the 4 Ultimate Skill Chain accolade. Didn’t care about actually winning the race.

hehehe… considering they’re called Midnight Battles, well, I’m rather hopeful (but still a bit wary) that they will indeed be Night races

Yeah, but I thought Spotlight battles in an arena… so they would be bright like Playground Games. So Destruction Derby type game… survivor wins.

This event lab works using a-class but not x-class, at least in my experience.

Not as hard as I thought. Completed all 4 Ultimate Skill Chains during one Lambo Midnight Battle in a Hoonigan RS 200 tuned to S1, although it might have been slightly easier if I’d have waited till I got near to the highway.

I would love them to be more difficult with 4 of the best human players/painters/tuners/event makers etc represented. This has potential. Higher difficulty, even better prizes and featured drivers/showcased designs is how I’d like to see this evolve.

Saving time to unlock 4 MidNight Battles with 0 sec blueprint.

While I’m sure the progression would be fine for anyone who joins the game now. Having to use “workarounds” to unlock these races just shows how disjointed this (and the coming update) are. It wasn’t hard (or that time consuming) do rerun 16 street races, but why even lock them for existing players in the first place? A simple check to see if the player had finished the street racing story should have been used.

i was in an s1 and didnt change my car but nice find

Completed the Toyota Celica battle-challenge first, promptly put the prize (duplicate) car in the AH.
Now 20 million richer.
Sorted.

Evenlabs 0 seconds blueprints STILL DO count as of today, OCT 15 2022. The only thing you need to do is play each one with a certain class car then change into another one. Find 4 blueprints and do it with 4 different classes of cars. That’s how I did it all today. Go to eventlabs > trending today. The top 3 should be these 0 seconds blueprints.

I jumped on for the first time yesterday to check out the update & decided to unlock the new MBs. To save time, I used the 0 sec races referred to here in a C class Camaro, thinking how ridiculous it was going through the exercise, but it opened each MB w/o issue after every 4 ELs completed. I’m on XSX btw.

I concur. Completed all 4 races fairly easily at Pro difficulty, with the first race in the stock Mustang Mark 1 (for the win and accolade). Intend to try Unbeatable tomorrow.

The race with the Lambo was funny though. I unintentionally traded paint with him at the first corner and threw him off his course. He went straight into the trees and was nowhere to be seen until 80% of the race when he was teleported right behind me

Despite being a bit too easy for me, I’d say these 4 races are pretty enjoyable, particularly the A class one.

You don’t even need to touch the Lambo for it to end up in the trees, it did it both times I did it.

The Mustang race at Pro difficulty was super easy using the stock SVT Cobra R. The 71 Mustang ended up as DNF.

They definitely aren’t difficult. Unbeatable certainly wasn’t even with some really ropey driving from yours truly.
