first off id like to say thankyou Turn10 i love the forza games the are fantastic. i was wondering if anyone knew if there are any unicorn cars or going to be id love to be able to get them again my unicorn rx7 FD was amzing in forza 4 bring her back to me

No. Brian Ekberg announced in a Week In Review article that unicorns are “a thing of the past”.
That’s probably wise. It was a bit of a pain chasing them down. But it felt great when you got one. And I managed to snag every unicorn in Forza 4 and Horizon. Beautiful things.
I Just wish they never removed “or” Re-created the Classic Forza Car’s, Like the Top Secret Supra, & R32 & R34 MiNE’S Skyline’s, those type’s of car’s from all the past forza’s that had there own special design. I’m sort of glad they got rid of the Unicorn’s, but in a way i miss them sense now there’s no real special car gift’s or car reward’s for FM5. i think i remember seeing someone say there are 5 car’s in the game that were found that are “Hidden” Type’s of car’s, but no word on what they were or how to get them?
Yes, it did feel good to get random new cars when you least expected it.
There are “mystery cars” in FM5. They may not be gifted like unicorns in the past, but they are there.

To clarify for the readers: none of these vehicles are available for the gamer in any shape or form. These are vehicles that Drivatars have utilized but are not available for purchase .
Correct. I should have clarified. They are on disc and selectable when labeling photos and setting online car restrictions. Drivatars also used them in single player at first and there were vinyls made for them for the drivatars. The December patch however now prevents the drivatars from using them.
If you go into a private match and set the car restriction to one of these five, you will be prompted to change car and then to buy a car. What you get is a blank car screen with empty stats. However it also has the “new”, “dlc”, “+recommended”, and downloaded icons.

id guess we have all the hackers and modders that were unlocking all unicorns and even handing them out on previous games to thank for there removal.
The removal of unicorns has come as a bit of a curveball to be honest. The unicorns were real, no-cost incentives for getting involved with the community. It was nice to have something to work towards that couldn’t simply be unlocked by wagging £££ or $$$ at.
Agreed. I loved the mystery hunts in Horzon and getting a Unicorn was a huge part of the incentive to drive around looking for these things. I also got a unicorn for playing with a dev at one point. Without unicorns I’m less inclined to interact with the community or take part in events. I’ll still take part, just not so much.

i managed to get a bunch of unicorn cars end of last year. hoping i would be able to carry them into FM5.
may as well have bought GT on ps4. because i have nothing to show for my years of loyal support for the forza series. Its like starting all over again.
