So, when it came out, I purchased the eBay Motors Car Pack. I used to drive in particular the Holden A9X Tirana a lot. Anyway, I just went to drive it then, now it says that it is a DLC and I have to repurchase the DLC. Turn 10 please help!
As long as you haven’t changed your Xbox Live account (gamertag), you “own” that DLC and should be able to use it. Has the download completed 100% (not just “Ready to play”) when you look in Manage Game? If so, do a Hard Restart as described here: http://forums.forza.net/turn10_postsm528894_Losing-saves---What-can-I-do-to-prevent-it.aspx#post_528894
If all that fails, you need to contact Xbox Live Support. They handle the administration of the Download Content (DLC) on all games, can check and verify your purchase date for your account, and set things correct.
I’ve had the same problem, but mine is a bit different. So I have the Chrysler Rocket 69, Nissan Nismo, Fnf car pack, Turn 10 forza car pack and the Infiniti car. It says its purchased, and it doesn’t let me use them. It allows me to only buy them, which basically contradicts my whole point of buying them?? Please respond. I’m also quite new to Forza.
Usually the first “purchase” of dlc cars is in the free car tab in the find cars section
Yeah, but I don’t have that which is odd
there is only recommended and then the car brands…
Go into “Manage game” for FM6 and make sure the downloads for the packs involved have 100% completed. In “Manage game” you will see a left panel which lists “Installed,” Ready to install" and “Saved data.” Check Ready to install first, they may be listed there. If so, complete each one fully.
If there is nothing in Ready…, then double-check the Installed files. If they show there, you probably need to do a full Hard Restart of the Xbox One as described here: http://forums.forza.net/turn10_postsm528894_Losing-saves---What-can-I-do-to-prevent-it.aspx#post_528894
I’ve noticed this sometimes when I’ve started Forza; waiting in the menu and a few minutes later it seems to resolve itself.
