So I just started playing the game and am unable to view cars in the Car Collection or Garage. Whenever I open these sections it will skip down to the last car at the bottom of the list or at the bottom of Tier 5 in the collection screen and keep resetting there, not allowing me to view any cars at the top of the list on any of the above tiers. I’ve tried switching between my xbox controller and mouse and keyboard it makes no difference. Any one else have this issue and know a fix?
Also I pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition but none of the car packs are showing up in game. Is this normal? Are they just unlocked on the official release date on the 3rd?
Update: After some experimentation it works fine when the controller is unplugged completely. The moment it’s plugged back in the problem returns.
I have the same problem now.
When I first launched the game, I added some of Fast and Furious Cars to my garage. I also opened the Vip boxes and got the Horizon Edition cars.
But now, I can’t use them, the game shows me that I should buy the packs again, as if I did not buy the Ultimate Edition…
The screen that pops up describe the pack and shows the price - 0,00.
If I choose to buy it, the game doesn’t change. It doesn’t give me access to the cars packs.
What should I do?

I’ve had this happen twice now. It’s an easy but frustrating fix until they can put out a patch for it. Go to manage game and delete the car packs and VIP membership and simply download them again. They are only 10 mb a piece so it’s a quick and easy download. Again just frustrating.
Ok, so I do actually have the Fast and Furious cars, and all the other VIP stuff. Only ones missing now are the Hoonigan cars. I’ll try re-downloading the pack to see if that works.
Any one have any fixes for the controller issue? I’ve tried re-installing the drivers but that doesn’t make a difference. Also I was looking through the menus and while in the mods section I noticed it was going nuts in there too. Apparently the game is registering that the RT is being held down even when it’s not. This is why it constantly shifts to the last car in the Car Collection and Garage screen all the time.
Update: Hoonigan cars are in the Car Collection but it keeps throwing up a network error when I try and claim them. Will try again later.
On PC just restarting the game fixed the issue.

Done this a couple of times now and still having the controller issue. The current workaround I’m using that works is unplugging the controller when browsing or selecting cars and then plugging it back in once it loads to the track. Not the ideal solution but it works.

Hello everyone. I just retrieved my ultimate version pre ordered and I really do not have anything about the hoonigan pack … i pre order to EBGames for Xbox one
The Hoonigan pack is only for digital version, not disc… 
So I’ve tried doing a clean re-install of the 360 controller drivers but am still getting the same issue. Is anyone else using a controller to play and if so which one and are you getting any problems?

oh, looks like im having this problem aswell. i made another topic did not see this one before. i will try to re-download the dlc and vip and see if that helps… i dont know about making a video but here is a screenshot of the thing telling me to buy the dlc cars i already have in garage
yeah reinstalling the vip and dlc fixed all my problems. not so much crashing anymore either
Im having this problem too, it ask me to buy the pack for 0.0$ and then nothing…
my vip cars simply do not show up anywhere a few of them did like the 69 camaro ram and the gtr that is it for forza edition cars nothing else and I have tried reinstalling vip pack several times
