Need quick money? Well, then the Ultima 1020 is a good start. Several of them, actually.
In the auction house, they’re commonly buy outs as low as 72,000 credits. Simply buy multiple of these if you have the credits. Next, put them backup for auction, but raise the starting bid up to 90,000 credits. This will push the buy out price to 100,000, which is a mere 28,000 more.
And with the Ultima being a popular car, being as infamous as it was in previous titles, such as Motorsport 6, it will sell most likely. Chances are that people won’t think much of spending 28,000 more than waiting longer for the next one selling for 72,000. Bidding on this car usually isn’t worth it. 13,000 credits is very small for an S2 class car, so bids may go well over 100,000 and now you’ve over spent.
Another thing to look at is the buy out price being only 10,000 more than the starting bid price. 100,000 is, again, very cheap for an S2 class car and nobody will think much of it and easily buy it out. If people bid on it, you have the chance of making even more. Say someone makes the 90,000 bid and it sells, even after the fee, you still make a 15,000 credit profit. Ten of these is 150,000 in an hour!
Once you’ve got enough credits, maybe look for other trending cars that can make you even more, such as the Maserati 300 S. This car has a perk to unlock the MC12 FE and people chance it, to spend 600,000 at lowest for this car. The buy out price is too high for anyone to buy it out, so bids, from what I have seen, can go as high as 900,000. However, this car is very inconsistent and can be risky to work with, but can be highly rewarding.
As of right now, the Ultima is a comfy foundation for buying in bulk and easily profiting off of.
UPDATE: I purchased 5 Ultimas for 72,000 and sold 3 of them. I’ve re-auctioned the ones that failed to sell. That’s all there is to it. buy for 72,000, sell for 90,000 - 100,000 and re-auction the non sellers.
