Sometimes certain elements of the HUD go missing (namely gear), and on rare occasions the HUD doesn’t load at all. Opening and closing telemetry fixes the issue.
This has happened to me two times now where the gear number is missing from the HUD after starting a featured multiplayer race

I have noticed that sometimes part of / all HUD information is missing. When this happens, usually current gear and speed information is missing in featured multiplayer but I have also seen the whole HUD disappearing at least once in rivals mode.
Similar issue (but in Featured Multiplayer, not Rivals):
I wonder why I didn’t find that topic with search… I used pretty much exact keywords used here (hud, gear, missing, etc.).
I found it using “missing HUD”.

Also, don’t forget to vote on your own topics, the vote count is the representation of how many people are affected by this problem and helps T10 prioritize what needs to be fixed.

Happens very rarely. But fixing after a pit stop. Or a main menu entrance I’m not sure.
I find it usually happens after pausing the game and returning to the cockpit.
Usually pausing again and resuming will get the details back.

Agree…it needs fixing but the mitigation could be useful for other users who experience it and also for developers to track down the bug.

Yes this is an issue I’ve had. Also the track hud not showing up.

I have the standard game upgraded to vip. And I’ve noticed this everything inside the tach disappeared. Haven’t noticed since new update. Then again I haven’t been to features myltiplayer in a while. That’s where it happened for me was driving #93 dodge viper on Daytona road course. Also happened at laguna seca different car. Never got to get a picture or video sorry

Many bugs like this not available on Series X. PC version really need some huge proper hotfix.
