GGRRRRR[… WTH. So my tx wheel has gone haywire. the old problem off someone hit you and the feel of the wheel goes all jerky was ok. all i had to do was hit the home button and it would be fine.
but now when that happens and i hit the home button my clutch button B reverses with A and left paddle becomes gear up as well as my right paddle. maybe there is a fix for this but to be honest i couldnt be bothered trolling the forum looking for a answer sorry guys. All i want to do is try and race with this broken game
First, I would visit the Thrustmaster website and make sure you check your TX wheel has the current firmware version (53.0). Once you’ve verified being on the latest TX software, check out https://forums.forza.net/turn10_topics65_Hardware-and-Peripherals.aspx for suggestions which include what settings to start with in the Thrustmaster Control Panel prior to worrying about in-game settings. Once those are firmed up as proper and you update the firmware from a computer to the wheel itself, you can have a go at the in-game setup.
I have a TMX wheel and the settings may be similar. My problem started yesterday when I was getting ready to race in a series at IFCA.
I thought that I had the right car and then discovered that it was last weeks car.
When I got the right car and started to practice with my friend, my wheel would not shift up or reverse.
after playing around with it and resetting my XBOX, I decide that I would have to race with Auto. Trans that was working. lol I was 2 seconds slower.
Then after racing for an hour and we finished, I started checking the settings on my wheel, and decided to set the wheel to Default.
UH oh, the wheel started to shift again in “Manual” mode.
Somehow I had changed the wheel settings to a different setting.
So try resetting your wheel to “Default” in the “Options” Mode.
I use the “B” Button for the clutch.
Good Luck.
With all the problems I have had on a TX on Forza, I’ve never come across this.
I have… sometimes out of nowhere it starts violently going back n forth real fast… must sometimes even kill XBOX and restart.
Thanks for the reply. Firmware update sorted hopefully its all sorted now. I’m just off for some B class races and only time will tell.
