Tom had the same question about a week ago. You might get some pointers from that thread too if you havent met up with Tom yet.
Only use 900 if you have the T3PA pedals and TH8A shifter because using 900 degrees when using the flappy paddles and the A button as the clutch is very hard to overcome. I use 270 degrees because of this and I know people who are comfortable using way more than that, but nothing near 900. Also, Forza in most recent times has had a major problem with the strength of FFB on their games. It is nothing to do with the wheel itself, believe me on that, but it is with the FFB algorithms inside the game that seems to reduce the voltage of the motors inside and make it much more sluggish to rotate. I think this is a safety procedure but I do find it annoying that it isn’t as quick as what it should be.
Like what SergeantPounder said, there is a thread that I have also previously answered upon discussing the use of the wheel. There may be something use of over on that thread.
Hey guys I also have the tx just getting used to it as well. If u wanna get together and go cruising let me know
I’m only a drifter but if you want hit me up on a Sunday (only day available). Should be fun!
I’ve had the wheel 1hr and doing fine already, settings are as stands 270 degrees seeing as I can’t hit a/b for clutch & ebrake on anything higher. Using a as ebrake, clutch is b, vibration at 0 and ffb scale (strength) at 50%. I added you hks so we can drift soon.
As I have said above your message Spazzy, I’ll only be on Sunday. But possibly Saturday Afternoon (Aussie central time)
I got my wheel about a week ago and also struggled with 900 degrees, I don’t have pedals or shifter but even with those you sghi, I’m using mostly 270-360 and sometimes 540, but nothing beyond that. Add me so we can share some experiences.

I’ll be on tonight if anyone is up for some drift practice I’m getting better with the wheel at 900 and found some tricks.
