I thought TVR was always difficult to control in past games or i might be thinking of the speed 12 with that killer engine sound, nice surprise to see the tvr pretty easy to control in FH2
Speed 12 sounds cool but the only thing i could do is hit the wall because of the speed lol has Forza ever had the Speed 12 after my mini stroke i cant remeber small info like that anymore
I love it, not least likely simply less likely. And it’s true, isn’t it?
The TVR cars have always been quite a handful and a little lacking when it comes to control or chassis out of the box. I haven’t spent much time in one since FM3 so it’s refreshing to see that people are having an easier time with it in FH2. That said, doesn’t it make you wonder how much they really changed and modified either the physics handling in Horizon 2 or the car from it’s original? The TVR cars T10 has modeled are fairly tough to drive in the real world so it’s fair that that translates to Forza.
I played F5 and it handles horrid even with the same tuneing also drifting in it is easier, well FH2 drifting i itself is much easier at least to me it is
Never said physics were better/worse. The handling of the TVR in PGR made a better job of it than in Forza; there are a lot of factors that influence the experience of “object X” in “game Y”.
Speed 12 was definitely in previous Forza Motorsports games on 360 - I’ve loved the thing since Gran Turismo 3. I don’t agree that it’s uncontrollable, you can control it but if there is a car that will teach you about throttle control, this is a superb candidate
You need the most delicate inputs and / or to fully utilise the high torque outputs by staying in higher gears than you would normally but when you can harness that abundance of torque and power, you can knock out some very serious lap times. I find that these kind of cars are best reserved for closed circuits however and they’re rarely as usable in the open world.
Dammit, I miss the Speed 12 though, Cerberas in general.
I think all this FH2 and FM5 is making me want to load up FH1 and FM4 again haha.
Oh and the TVR Tuscan and Sagaris have always been cars that punch well above their weight and have been very controllable too. It was really just the Speed 12 that could be defined as overpowered for the chassis.
