TVR Tuscan, why so ugly?

The TVR Tuscan in game has a spoiler that looks awful. I didnt even know it could come with one like that! So your choice is, Forzas generic spoiler, or some lip, rather than a smooth clean body as their is no no spoiler option. Why?
Also, will Forza ever add a TVR Cerbera? As the Speed 12 is ugly but adds a good engine, and the Cerbera is similar to the Speed 12. Or is this it for the game, the same cars as every other Forza?

The Tuscan is a disaster. The headlights all have some weird graphical texture and most annoyingly the dashboard displays the speed twice instead of displaying the rpm in the center digital display. One of the cars defining features. Apparently, it’s just been ported over from an earlier Forza title as it has the same issues years ago.

You will take your free cars and you WILL like them!

Its not even free, im drowning in money! This car took me time and required racing with other players, in forza, so avoiding people who cant use brakes, aka everyone :frowning:

That speedo in a speedo is hilarious! TVR allow them to use their cars, poorly.

IMO the car’s biggest flaws are these:

  1. Reflections near the wheel bolts seem somewhat messed up
  2. The sound is a mix of the Jaguar XJR-9 from FM7 with some BMW 6-cylinder and the result sucks

I’m sure the team handling the 3D models would love an extra 3 months of development hunting bugs, but FH4 was the last Forza released in that old “one Forza every year” schedule, so it’s not surprising that the shaky quality control from FM7 spread into FH4.

Another issue I have with the remastered cars is that every single one of them should have come to FM7 as well, especially since all of them are compatible with the divisions in that game. It doesn’t make sense to have the non-street legal FXX in FH4 but not FM7, because the car was brought from the 360 era so it would’ve been better to convert it to FM7 format and then to FH4’s.

However, for whatever reason, Playground had to use these cars to fill in some slots in the Car Pass. While some of them were worthy additions with quite a few hours of development behind them (Honda S2000), others weren’t (NSX-R GT). It would not have been nice to give all these cars to FM7 players for free while FH4 players have to pay for it, hence why we were given only the Diablo GTR (not in FH4), the TVR Speed 12 and I believe the 599XX Evo (not sure if this is new).

Engine sounds in this game are a big complaint in general, they got the texture sounds right (gravel etc), but no cars. TVRs should boom and resonate, but I hardly hear them over a BMW. Its what TVR are famed for :frowning: So very much agree!
I also want to hear other players cars in the distance, like gun shots in PUBG. Not loud, but some noise would be nice, other than when they are next to you. We are in the mountains after all. You know, like real life!

I have a feeling this department was shut down/cut back years back. So we keep getting the same models over and over rather than some variety, other than the hand full of new cars that come out. We are paying £60 after all, I would like more than just a map imo. This is why I would like to see the Cerbera, or even a Griffin (pre TVR restart). Its also as the new boss of TVR regards the Cerbera as one of their most importaint 90s cars. The Speed 12 is just a Cerbera with TVRs V12 in it. So needed for the engine I guess. I cant tell if they have the Speed 6 engine in the game, from sounds that is.

Just a shame, and doubt anything will come of it. And imo this game, being the UK one, should have dug deep into the British car bucket and pulled out a lot more cars related. FH3 had all the ozzy cars you could want. We just get what we’ve seen before. But that requiers money, not that this game hasnt made a mint already. Is becoming a wee bit of a money grab cough cough EA cough cough.

You are misinformed. The version of the Tuscan that is featured in the game is one that has had the tail lamps re adjusted for safety reasons, and comes with that spoiler stock which also contains rear reflectors. Here are some pictures for comparison.

You’re confusing it with the early model, which came with this awkward tail lamp arrangement
