2018 TVR Griffith

This is one of the most beaitiful cars in the game and the most beautiful British car ever made. Congratulations to the engineers who made such a masterpiece.
Thank you Playground Games.

Totally agree, by far my fave car from all the car pass cars. It’s such a stunning looking and handling car.

TVRs always look unfinished to me. Like a preliminary design sculpt.

That’s because they are unfinished. I’ve had a quick go in a couple and the build quality is terrible. They drive nice, you’ve just got put up with peeling trim, panels and doors that don’t line up right and constantly breaking down.

Not to mention they like to catch fire :flushed:

Hmm, that’s not my experience from knowing someone who owned a Chimera then got a Ferrari 355 and he took me for a drive in both of them. The Chimera was night and day nicer inside than the 355, and everyone who’d been in them both agreed.

I don’t actually like the look of the new Griffith, in fact I struggle to like the look of most recent cars, perhaps I’m just getting old. To me it looks like a mundane car, it has many aesthetic cues in common with much cheaper cars, e.g. the Mazda RX-8.

I’m exaggerating a point but there is some truth to what I’m saying. I used to work in the motor trade and people would often leave cars with us to have some work done. A couple of us take the nicer ones out for a “test drive” after the work had been done.

I remember a Chimera that was particularly bad and had glued down trim and I’ll fitting doors. I had a chat with the owner when he came back he said the thing was pain with the electrics in particular always playing up. It was a while ago but every time I sat in a tvr it felt like a kit car.

TVR is my fav car company, so appreciate your comment. But no, TVR lost its sole when it died. I like that they are making “a” car again, but it wont sell/last, TVR is dead :frowning:

I do wish FH had more of their cars, all the 90s and 00s TVRs, there are not many. The Cerbera is my all time fav, not too much of a showoff, but still a V8 plastic mad box under the skirt. And I wish FH would add more of “their” engines. V8 4.2 to 4.7, the 6’s. I guess the kids all want Koenigseggs and Bugatti now.

The Griffith was always a subtle car for TVR looks wise, I hope they go mad again with a new Tuscan? Something to stand out from todays crowed. TVR age so well! Apart from the Speed12, great engine, buy fml its U G L Y!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not hating on TVR, although I said the chap thought it was a pain he still loved it. I was just saying that in my experience they used to make cars for the enthusiast, not something you would get for day to day use.

No no no, nothing wrong at all
Was just popping in with an opinion. TVR are very much a Marmite brand, and for good reason. The Sagaris was the first TVR to be track tested lol. And they do fall apart, and are hard to drive, and smell, and rattle. And you’ll have to explain to your missus why you brought one, and you wont hear the end of it.
I mean, back then cars looked like the McLaren F1, or that sorta reserved German saloon era. TVR stood out to me. Today they would be on par with anyone else looks wise, and wouldn’t be the fastest cheap car money can buy with all sorts of clever hot hatches and ott saloons these days.

Thats why I think they will fail again, no leg to stand on.

One of my favourites in the Car Pass as well. It sounds soooo good in-game.

It looks so much like the new Supra I had to slap a Supra paint job on it and make it a S2 JGTC Supra, awd swapped of course, because Forza… After some tuning I set my 2nd fastest time on my Aerodrome Test Track. It’s a bit of a pain to drive though so it remains to be seen if it’s any good online.
