One car I would really love to see is the Rx-7 FC. They added the v8 to almost every car in the game. and I saw that and immediately wanted to drop one in an FC. I was bummed to find out that there was no fc. Just the FD. and those that are having trouble sliding in forza 5 with -5 front camber, sorry to say I find it almost impossible. to much lock causing over steer sucks. and I think us drifters should definitely be able to server browse. I hate public lobbies because they’re to competitive.
TURN 10 DON’T CARE ABOUT DRIFTER AND THE DRIFT COMMUNITY PUT FORZA ON THE MAP AND EVERYONE KNOW THAT
TEAM BLACK JACK WAS ON THE TRAILER ON FORZA 3
JUST WAITING FOR GRAN TURISMO 7 SEE WHAT HAPPENS
I’ve heard “wait for GT___” for years now. Unless a game is drifting oriented, or Need For Speed, there will never be an emphasis for drifters. Ever. Period.
Their should be a PI limit of R Class in Drift Lobbies. However I would really like a JDM car pack full of Japanese tuner classics that weren’t included in the game. Also a few more maps including Suzuka Circuit, Nurgburgring, and Fujimi Kaido (If possible). I feel like this may not happen because Turn 10 only cares about new gamers to racing simulators and $$$.
I kind of like the fact people can grab a P1 car in a drift lobby. I like less restrictions. You can vote to kick people out of lobbys. That doesn’t bother me too much, but is annoying.
The thing that does bother me is the fact you can buy into more F5. Not only did they take away unicorn cars that you would never find a low skilled driver using, but they made old F4 cars that were already introduced to the games older version somehow a “new” DLC. LOL On top of that, as if the x2 boost to your credits for VIP wasn’t enough, they give you the cars you purchase in DLC packs…
There is no such thing as a ‘special’ car in Forza anymore. You can’t even respect the gamer for purchasing a 2mil credit vehicle and using it to his advantage. Chances are this person paid real money for it, or they are VIP members and it only took them a quarter of the time to obtain it.
Forza is losing it’s flavor in the sense of direction its heading.
Its heading straight to the casual gamer who uses every assist possible, and has little knowledge or appreciation for the game. That’s what I assume the franchise will become if it stays in this direction. It will become the casual vehicle game for casual users who pay good $ from the start to make them feel like they have an edge, when in reality you spoil them so hard they can’t comprehend skill and or player ability (they just crash over and over like a child playing an arcade game). It will no longer hold the title for being THE simulation game… this was suppose to happen to Forza Horizon, not your simulation version
Stew you are so stupid so just shut up. Most people troll. I drive R and P class cars and i dont troll. maybe you should just shut up . You are right about most people trolling but not everyone trolls drift lobbies with R and P class cars. Turn10 should just remove X class cars from the drift lobbies.
There is no car that needs to be P class. Hell, most supercars with a heavy build only get to mid S. if R and P class cars are still available, people can still run LeMans Prototypes and race cars.
They should have racing slicks in general banned. It’d piss a lot of newbies off but would make it so no race cars could be used. Or make it production cars only.
I agree with you on banning race tires out of drift lobbies that would fix a lot of the problems with people using race cars and indy cars but not p class because some AWD cars can get in to the low 900 in p class and still be really good drift cars like the Ferraris.
I have a 458 Italia that drifts great, albeit RWD, that’s below S650. S class is the new R3, so if you’re up into P and R class your cars are R2 and R1 basically, by FM4’s standard.
Thats why I said AWD not RWD not everyone drifts only RWD some few people know how to drive them both and don’t even try saying AWD is easy when you have never even tried it before. I know plenty of points drifters that only drift RWD that have touble drifting AWD.
I feel your pain, getting drifting even added to the game took years. Drifting has always been the redheaded stepchild of Turn10, an unexpected consequence of solid physics and private lobbies. We need to be the change we want to see, so rather than playing the “unlimited” drift lobbies, we need to take advantage of the events like the monthly “production drifters”. It will probably take some time, but where we spend our time and what we post on this forum. Will get to Turn 10 eventually, and just as drifting became a part of the game, the lobbies too will follow what we tell Turn 10 we want.
People do you not understand that fm5 was a release title game, it was incredibly rushed by microsoft to get it out when the Xbox One came out and this is what happened, fm5 is fm3 with newer cars a better graphics with a few different tracks, look at what happened to bf4 that game was rushed by EA to be released a year after mohw and look where it got them they’re still fixing it. When fm6 comes out we’ll see everything we’re wishing for and loved about fm4 and then some, that’s just the circle of the fm life, make one rushed but ok game then release another one two years later that blows peoples minds, besides horizion 2 is coming and its gonna be fm5 with 32fps and free roam lets see how that pans out
Turn 10 does not care about the quality of anything they do anymore, look at FM8, they are not going to fix open drift, they are busy trying to reverse the flop that is FM8
