Tuning setups that have a higher PI. How!?

Hi all,

So I’ve played Forza games for a while, and with the acception of small changes to fix things like understeer, never really tuned before, and I’m confused.

I’ve seen tuning setups for cars that provive huge boosts to acceleration and make the car go from say, S2 [920], to X [999]. Just tuning! No matter the upgrades and tuning that I apply, I can’t make the PI number budge a damn inch, and make nothing but minor improvemants.

I must be missing something painfully obvious. But what?

Only upgrades will move your PI, tuning won’t change the PI.

If you choose to download a tune that increases the PI then you will also be buying the parts to do so.
