Forza tune can give those with a beginner or limited tuning experience a stable platform to drive or start adjusting from. Still would recommend doing it on your own and learning but for those with limited time or no interest in tuning it’s not a bad start.
Forza Mechanic 5 My best Settings so far is 1.8 Hz ride frequency with +12.5% Rear…at 30psi…
I have the one for Android. Its just ok. It will give you a starting point, but that’s it really. You can do much much better than what the App gives you.
Forza Mechanic 5 has so meny unique combinations it’s tuning capability model is endless… It just takes time …
any settings for F1 cars with high aero for this calc?
has anyone played with more then the defalt settings?
For like GT TORA races?
any help would be nice…

Having no hood view in forza 2 sucks but. . - yes it works on that game as well…
Well I don’t have any experience with that tuning program. However in the real world application and tuning setup will take tire spring rate into account when setting up the car. The tire spring rate is basically the sidewall of the tire acting like a spring while driving. The teams will acquire this information from the tire manufacture about each specific tire and compound they will use. They will also suggest the proper tire operating temperatures for each type of tire. Changing the psi inside the tire will change the amount of tire that is contacting the ground. Lower pressure will create a larger contact patch than higher pressures, however the greater contact patch will generate more friction and heat in the tire. In Forza I don’t know what the tire spring rate would be for each compound type. In the last game they tested tires with Pirelli and you could have made an educated guess looking up so of their tire data. In Forza 5 they tested a wider array of companies and compounds of tires.
Sorry but I forgot to add this last little bit. Not knowing how or what formulas Turn 10 used in programming the tire physics and how they plugged the data into the suspension models makes all of this trickier.
These calculators are a waste of time. You can do better reading these forums and making your own tune setup. Upgrades are a challenge and I dont’ see any calculators on that one. Did any of those calc tell you to drop a rally engine into your ride? NO!

I would strongly recommend that you stop using the foul language when posting on this forum. It is against the terms of service and can end up getting you baned.
I can understand how the tuning calculators may help some people if they haven’t quite invested the hours into learning how to tune themselves. They always require adjustments before you archive the correct settings. A large number of people in this fourm however are those who have invested many hundreds of hours tuning and learning what works and what dosent. I stated in my first post that the calculators can give you a stable starting point but your better off learning to do it yourself. If it’s working for you then keep using it.
106.4 isn’t that special. Imagine if you actually tuned it.
Got it down to 1:03.8. This Forza mechanic is the awesome. He told me about overloading the corners and how to dial the car in, all I had to do is take the time. And drop the time…It is a tool and it’s dam good one for the price of a pack of gum…
I think I got it now thanks all…
your called HSR Master tune and yet you can’t tune a car by feel, lol!
The Three Minute Tune contained deeper in this thread has no learning curve and will produce a reasonably competitive car. Why waste time tuning when you could be racing! Top racers are going to put more effort into their tunes, but the majority of Forza players just want to play.
Since I now know how to use the forza mechanic 5 tuning tool I can now tune a life size doll with wheels ![]()
I can tune anything now…Some tool settings will give you a head start…will start a forza mechanic settings thread…

The standard setting you get on the car is a tune! All you have to do is tweak it! And if what you just said was serious, please change you GT!
Thanks,
