As the title of the topic suggests, its something minor and would go long way for people who have a preference about it while playing the game for long periods at a time. Some cars sound good with it and some don’t. Some sound naturally good, some are just too much.
#stopburbletunes
that
It’s especially annoying that you cannot hear it when upgrading the car.
Exhaust, fuel and ignition upgrades can change the burble (mostly increase it with higher level parts), but to check it you have to test every combination in a testdrive to find that’s the least annoying.
Maybe it could go well with this suggestion, placed under the audio tab:
Yeah, a toggle would be nice. My car doesn’t burble (rethinking that I should of phrased it as pops and bangs on overrun instead of burble) even modified, but there are tuners that will sell an ECU tune that just dumps fuel on overrun to simulate pops and bangs.
I mean fake pops and bangs are just as bad as burbles. If it’s honest like on old school cars it’s enjoyable, but on modern cars it’s clearly artificial and really overdone. This goes for both real life and in Forza.
Having a toggle for this would really be nice.
I agree, they are best from classic cars. I was following a new Supra and the owner had it pop everytime he let off the gas. I guess driving a good sports car wasn’t enough, he needs to be annoying to get attention as well. There is a STI that I hear all the time, guns it and short shifts so people can hear his blow off valve and artificial pops and bangs. They sound so fake, forced, and in need for attention imo.
