So i rad in the patch notes it was removed cause it was an exploit? what? how?
I was happy to see to i can download a tune before a race cuz i hated to get out of the race go to pause menu download go back in the race etc, someone please tell me why was this an exploit?
because players can download and use S1 tune on a D class race and smoked unbeatable AI. Even unbeatable AI has their weakness.
but the game is supposed to download new drivatars when you load a new tune? or maybe it will be back after they fix it?
Maybe, I dont know, but for now they disable it, they disable voice chat in MP too for now cause it one of the reason it took so long to load MP race or so they said, maybe just a stopgap solution for now.
Yeah but the point is that they could have fixed the exploit by making the game make sure the AI are in the right class after changing the tune. Instead they just took the lazy option of binning the whole thing.
I really hope they put it back…I’m so freakin’ bored of using the same car for every race 
I usually picked up a random car and browsed through the setups before race to make it good, usually max A rank, because from S1 on the AI is just dumb (it’s so nice using a Senna and being smoked by a buggy :'D).
But why use A class car in D class race?
There’s no such a thing as D class race, if you enter a race with a A class car you’ll find A class AI drivatars, if you go with a S2 you’ll find S2 cars and so on.
And the way the AI scales up is pathetic, I drove a S2 998 Apollo with max tuning and was smoked in straights by a Buggy :'D
I found out that A class is the sweetspot where AI is not exponentially going faster and, in my case, races are fun.
I have a Senna which is a super beauty, when I play it online it smokes people because it’s hard to drive and pays off but when I play it versus AI it’s just not working, it’s X999 and the other cars are simply rockets on rails.
So, back to the topic, I usually took a random A class car (even B or just a car that looked interesting, I’m bored of seeing always the same cockpit) and then applied a tune that kept her in the A class spot, just to have it more responsive (otherwise I’d have to tune/test it manually but I’m not good at it, I’m good at driving).
