This is not going to happen for me. I have spent the best part of this whole day and created a short straight and flat first turn. There’s no way I’m going to spend 300 hours just to build a short track oval.
That PGG didn’t give us reasonable track sections and a snap in place fit function is basically criminal on their part. I’m going down to the police station tomorrow and filling a report. Stranger things have happened!
There are alphabet building blocks and toy dinosaurs to pick and place but no legitimate track sections. And I mean legitimate, not those bits and pieces they gave us. Or those stunt track pieces of garbage.
Given the new dlc of hot wheels (I used to play with when I was 5) and the old lego land dlc of FH4 (ok, I enjoyed that one). I have figured out the age range PGG is shooting for in this is a target range of 15 and under. Well, I didn’t put any money into this game so I can walk away clean. Sorry for the lot of you all who bought in on the pre-sales.
I’ll be looking for you all on the new Need for Speed 2023 game. Unless I end up on PS5. Just tired of the frustration of the whole forza childishnes game lines.
With the upcoming Hotwheels expansion we will officially be getting 80 new event lab objects some of which will be toggle-able to snap. Which means the oval track you are wanting to create will be much much easier. Only downside is we wont be able to snap pre-existing parts in the Eventlab but I feel that probably would be alot to fix. I am not a developer or anything of that matter so I do not know what trouble spots they are facing or how difficult the matter is.
As for this above, you just have to remember that the game is rated E For Everyone! I understand why you are upset but, the staff during the showcase brought up that there was actually a huge demand for the Hotwheels franchise to be brought back in as a expansion. As it was arguably one of the most popular expansion to date and imo one of the greatest expansions ever. I didnt expect it to make a comeback either but I am happy for those who missed the expansion to get their second chance. I remember when FH3 hit eol there was people everywhere begging staff to bring the Expansion back but, the licensing at the time had ended prohibiting it. I am sorry to hear your upset.
Forza has always wanted to appeal to everyone. The Forza Horizon Franchise in particular is a simcade meant to be relaxed and peaceful as well as open armed to the community. The Horizon series revolves around an open world even FH2 had a radio dialogue mentioning “Someday taking over the world”. It is alot around just enjoying the view and exploration based. If you are looking for a non-“childish” game you can branch away from the simcade experience and give Forza Motorsports (simulation experience) a try.
Given my state of mind at the time, the title wasn’t that misleading.
I would appreciate any comments or help. I laid down a short straight and first turn. So I went back and published it. Below is the share code. The event name is currently real track.
