Yeah ask Asobo from MSFS, they did it. Sadly you choose the full arcade route. Button mappings and lack of TC/ABS adjustments…
It is all like FH5.
Placing this here (it was tough finding this thread again).
If you never seen FM on triple screens and compared it to a game that has triple screen support, then hopefully this video will illustrate what the issue is. I have to warn you, I stumbled through explaining what I am seeing. And the audio has been cited for crimes against humanity. You’ve been warned.
yeah, the issue is that forza only supports 1 rendered viewpoint which is stretched across the resolution space. Proper triple screen renders 3 separate viewpoints which can then be configured to match the viewing angle of your monitors. In practice, Forza’s multiscreen all the screens should be aligned dead flat with no angle on them since the image is being rendered from a single viewpoint.
what is crazy is the fact that we know the forzatech engine is capable of rendering multiple viewpoints because they did it on the Xbox360 using system link and multiple consoles.
I may think some developers think it is not worth the effort adding proper triple screen support, as owners of those systems are very low compared to a “normal” players. But they are still many thousands across the globe.
What they are forgetting is that players with simrigs and triple screens, has invested allot of money on theire equipment, and is playing more racing games than a casual pc gamer, and thereby also is willing to spend more money on the games which work for theire setups. So by adding proper support, means those players would be more willing to spend more money on extra content like dlc`s. So by doing so the developer would probably earn more money, not less.
We have been banging on this drum for a long time and it’s never ever getting acknowledged or picked up.
You can do a degree get it sorted but it’s terrible.
Microsoft flight sim has a superb feature built into the game to enable it. There is then two indie games Assetto corsa AND the bus which also has a tool built into the game to enable. We also have project cars 2 or 3, I forgot again with this feature.
These games all combined are far less in comparison for budget! All different engines and systems and all made it work.
Triple screen support and ability to move seating position would be mint. FOV slider leaves a lot to be desired.
Just bought premium version, nvidia surround just isn’t cutting it. Please add triple monitor support similar to Asseto Corsair. Thank you.
Come on Microsoft. The RTX 5000 cards are about to come out, so triple screens are going to be the norm.
Actual triple screen support would make the game look WAY better, and the driving physics/ upgrading of cars specs when building is out of wack. A Silvia with all racing suspension should be WAY better than freakin 3.7 handling. Its embarrassing how bad this has become.
Can we get an update from Microsoft? At least acknowledge that we are being heard?
